Why my Bella?

Telling Jake

Bella's POV

I turned to Edward and said, "I think we should tell Jacob about me being pregnant." He gave me a questioning look and asked, "Why should we?" I sighed and decided to tell Edward, "Our child is his imprint, I've seen it Edward." Edward looked away and said, "I don't know if we should, he might tell the others and they might want to kill you and the baby." I told him, "That won't happen, once I explain how she will be. She's going to be half-vampire and half-human, I won't die giving birth to her either.

In less than a second Edward's whole demeanor changed as he asked, "We're having a girl?" I responded with a small smile, "Yes, we are. I think we should name her Reneesme." Edward said smiling, "I think that's a wonderful name, my darling." I leaned towards him and said, "I love you so much," then I pressed my lips against his for a sweet and tender kiss.

I pulled away from him when there was a knock on the door, I used my shield and found out it was Jacob. I whispered in Edward's ear, "It's time to tell him; go to the door and greet him, then bring him to the living room. Edward whispered seductively, "Anything for you, my darling." I watched Edward as he left the room, a few seconds later I heard the sound of the front door opening. Jacob asked, "Where is Bella? I need to see her." Edward sighed and said, "We have something to show you, lets go into the living room and you can see for yourself." 

I heard their footsteps as they walked towards the living room, I smiled slightly as they entered the room. Jake asked a little unnerved, "What is it I need to see?" Since I was sitting and wearing a baggy sweater it was hard to see my baby bump, it looked I was about to give birth but have been pregnant for only five weeks. When I stood up he looked at me in shock and asked, "Are you pregnant?" I replied grinning, "Yes, I am."

He looked away in disgust and said, "This baby will be a menace to the town, it will slaughter the whole state of Washington." I became enraged and yelled, "How dare you speak about her that way?! She won't kill people! She's going to be half-human half-vampire and she'll drink animal blood like us and eat human food like a regular human being! How dare you! She's your imprint! How can you speak about her in that manner!"

After a second pause he asked, "How can I believe you? How can I know for sure she's my imprint and you're not just lying to me?" I responded unsure, "I can show you." I had no idea if I would be able to show him or not, I just had to try and that was what I was going to do. I took a couple deep breaths as he moved closer to me, I placed my hand in his and closed my eyes as I tried to show him what I had seen concerning him and my daughter.

Jacob's POV

Bella gave me an unsure smile as I walked towards, I didn't know what I would do if I found out she was lying to me. She placed her hand in mine and closed her eye as she focused, then images flashed through my mind. I became amazed by what I saw. My imprint would be so beautiful and the spitting image of Bella, I felt a smile spread across my face. I would finally get my imprint, the one I was suppose to spend the rest of my life with.

When the images stopped she just smiled at me and said, "Now you know, you will have your imprint soon." I replied, "I can't wait, she'll be beautiful like her mother." Bella smiled and didn't say a word, I backed away and stood on the other side of the room. I watched as Edward approached Bella, for once I didn't feel jealous of him.

Sudden Bella said, "You can't tell the other wolves, they might want to kill her." I told them, "It's forbidden to harm another wolves imprint." She told me, "They might think I tricked you." As I thought about I knew she was right, so I said, "I guess you're right, I won't tell them. I have to go, I'll visit again soon." I left the Cullen's place with a smile on my face, the only thing I could think about was that I would soon have my mate.
