24th Chapter

As soon as I stopped the car Xena opened her door and fall on the ground.

"YAH XENA!!" I got so scared, as fast as I can I jump out the car to get her.

"Xena!" I heard another voice calling for her, its Prince. He is already outside so he got her faster that I could.

He carried her in his arm. I know I shouldn't get jealous in this kind of situation but I can't help it.

"Yah! Where are you taking her?! get her inside the car and bring her to the hospital!"

"No! I bring her to the company's clinic it's much closer. Riding a car would make her condition worst." He is taking her away.  I don't understand what he is saying did he study medicine to know that?! We doesn't even know why she collapsed.

"wait!" I'm about to stop him but Tracie stopped me. I didn't even notice she was there.

"Let him take her." She said. "I think he knows what he is doing?"

"what do you mean?! He-" I strongly disagree.

"He's been with Xena for more than four years, and he's been the one who took care of her when she was sick."

"what are you talking about? I'm confused."

"Those years that Prince wasn't here, he is with her."  all I'm thinking is there is something going on between them within that year.

"You said she was sick what happened to her?"

"Its not that she's sick but injured. she had an accident, a car accident." A car accident?? My heart is breaking just hearing it. Is that why she got so scared when she's about to get hit by a car.

"What kind of accident?" Then the reason why she fainted was because she ride the car with me. but I have drive her home before when she's sick and she usually ride the car when I have meeting out side.... no.. thinking about it she also doesn't look so good after the ride, I just didn't care.  I wanna punch myself right now.

"She's driving and her car crashed by a truck." I'm right she have a trauma riding cars. I think I'm loosing the my strength.  " and you see that wasn't all... but I don't think I should tell you."

"Tell me please." there's more, worst than that that she doesn't want to tell me?

"I'm sorry. I never thought that she have a trauma riding cars, If I have know then this wouldn't happened." Did she just change the topic.

"not that! what is it? the thing you can't tell me."

"I'll tell you so you can avoid making another mistake. though I think I shouldn't when it is too personal for her." she took a beep breath. ".... because of the accident she lost her vision and tried to commit suicide. I saw it myself, Prince saved her.  That time  the person she needs the most is Prince. That's why right now Prince know much more what she need than any other doctor in the country."

Xena's been through that? While I play around and earned a lot of money. I wasted my time, I should be the one who's been there for her. I should have just followed my heart and be with her. But all I did was treat her badly when she came back.

Me and Trace was just waiting outside the clinic. After a while Prince came out, he grab my collar out of anger. I deserve to be punched but he stopped himself and let me go.

"How could you not know that she's having a panic attack when she is just beside you, she even fainted." Prince face full of disappointment and anger with me.

"i'm sorry..."

"yah! I didn't need your apology. Now I know you doesn't really like her any more. But as a human being shouldn't at least care?  She's not just any body! She's  Xena! She's.. important to me. And once important to you."
