29th chapter

Xena...

Early in the morning Tracie come looking for Gill looking at his office.

"Yah! When you say you take responsibility I never thought you will just pay me back!" Tracie got startled when she notice me. Didn't she notice me when she got in?

"That's the money you earn yourself so I should repay you. Should I just bought you a gift?? But finding a single gift with that amount is very hard. "

Tracie shook her head in disbelief.

"You should have given me progress instead." She said.

Ah.. they must be talking about business.

"Don't rush me please. I also want to have progress but you know very well  it would back fire if I rushed it."

I smiled, they seem closer now.

A month and a half passed...

Everything seems very peace full other than Tracie and Gill keep quarreling. At first they look cute to me but I'm starting to get sick of it.

Their relation ship is a lot better now though. They look is close now even though they fight at times.

"...Xena..?" Right now I'm eating with Sam.

"Why?" I asked.

"Aren't you eating too much?''

"Maybe I don't feel stressed anymore my appetite become really good. I feel healthy this days. Though sometimes I felt really tired even though I barely did anything."

"It's actually nice that you've gain more weight. You look like a stick when I first was you. But that foods are too many you might have an upset stomach."

"No! Don't worry about me I can even eat a pig."

"If you say so. By the way it's my daughter's birthday next week, Make sure to bring gift, she like opening presents."

"Of course, I wanna see your daughter again!! She's so cute!!" Sana once invited me to their house. She had a 2 year old daughter.

After lunch I came back to the office. Gill sitting on his chair glaring at me.

"..why??" I asked but he just pouted and turn away. Is he sulking?

I stopped in front of him and squats looking at his face.

I smiled. "I'm sorry." I said. "Is it about lunch?" I didn't wait for him to finish his work and go eat with Sam.

He is not answering. "You haven't eaten yet?" I grab his hand and stand up. "Let's go, I come with you."

He smiles and stand up.

"I thought you already eaten?" Gill asked.

I bought three slices of cake and a cup of coffee.

"It's dessert."

"You are getting cuter everyday." He said smiling brightly.

"Yah... You making me lose my appetite."

Week later. At Sam's house.

Even though it's a birthday party the air becomes awkward when we came.

Sam grab me and whisper on the corner. "I don't remember inviting those three."

"Ah.. I'm sorry, I don't think that they would be in center of attention. I got overly excited for her birthday that I boasted her picture to them and ended up inviting them."
