Seungmin took a deep breath before he opened the door to the classroom. It was another normal and boring day.

Your teacher for the first subject was absent as usual, leaving Seungmin to take charge.

The moment Seungmin stood at the front, the noise slowly died down.

"Listen up everyone. Mr. Wang is absent but he left us work. It's by pairs"

At the mention of 'by pairs' whispers filled the air with friends choosing partners left and right.

'Alright Kim Seungmin, today is the day that you ask y/n to be partners.'
Is what he initially thought of as he glanced at your direction.

His heart dropped though when he saw Hwang Hyunjin talking to you.

"Babe, be partners with me"

"Not today Hwang" You replied with a chuckle before getting up.

Seungmin's eyes go wide. Why were you walking towards him? What was happening? W-

"Hey Seungminnie. I'm gonna go to the washroom"

"O-okay!" Seungmin mutters too quickly, flustered by your sudden statement which he didn't expect. You chuckle at his reaction and Seungmin couldn't help but blush at the sound of your laughter.

Once you left, he sighed.
He was such a love sick idiot.
