Happy new year
After 20 min of a band I am too young to enjoy
Finally the count is about to begin
My 4 person family squished on a 3 person sofa
And I feel the year slipping through my grasp

It's here
The fireworks begin
Pretty impressive but my brain wants to zoom out drastically
The pressure to live in the moment is too much
No concentrate!
On the wave of phones watching it live
Now that's an oxymoron
No, come on, look at the fireworks
But The exploding colours blind me rather then excite me
My family are silent but we are all fidgeting
bored by "world famous fireworks"
New year
No resolutions
Still me
I break the silence "yay!"
My sister smiles back
Happy new year we all chorus
Because out of everything
I really hope it's happy

See they are not going to be great. I would give this one a 5/10,
