We are all Frankenstein's
The creature and the guy
As We are made up of bits and pieces of other people
Yes, our genes from our parents
That fit better in some places then others
But we learn so much from copying what we see
From this weeks most popular greeting
To our values and beliefs
Challenged so we can be sure to bare their weight
That's how slang travels so fast
Yo, banter, yeet
Spreads like a virus in olden times
With the source, never known

We are the creature
The pieces of us we don't control
But we still try to fit them together to make one coherent us

We are the guy
Parents of mannerisms
That we don't even realise
Someone picked up and now everyone does it
To the memories we create that shape the lives of others
Or that one little change
Which turns these universes parallel

People get mad
When for the millionth time
Someone mixed up Frankenstein and his creation
But they forget, we are all Frankenstein's
I mean the guys creation is part of him anyway
And ideas travel fast
Even the stupid ones
So if the tv shows and films
Say Frankenstein's the monster
Who are we to say otherwise

Notes
This is part one of two poems inspired by the novel Frankenstein. I'm studying it in school. It's alright, but I'm not that great at English. So I wrote some poems about it, maybe that will improve my analysing skills magically. I like this poem as it flowed out all in one as i was writing it in a physics revisions session. And I haven't edited much from the original 7/10 (I know I kinda forgot about ratings)
