you asked me
"who do you have a crush on in this situation?"
Obviously I deflected it
do you think I want my heart stepped on again
but, of course it created daydreams
of an emotional monologue
planned to get my mind off
the hateful remarks of the her before
I could tell her
that we've got to consider what happens if we break up
that I'm probably not that fun to date
I suppose we could try something casual
all these things miles ahead of reality
I'm not really looking for anything right now
apart from some crush drama
so what I really should've said
when asked who I has a crush on in this situation
"you"
and then moved on with no explanation.
