We are still here
On the same sofa
the same people
Though we had guests round they all went to bed an hour ago
It's weird,
That it's been a year since that first poem
When I felt so alone
That I put my poems on the internet to find people to share them with
Yes, I was at first disappointed with my follower growth
6 in a year is not very impressive
I've learnt it's not about the quantity but the connection
I can't believe I wrote 52 poems
I feel such a connection to me a year ago
Trying to feel the difference between one year and the next
Concentrating so hard on the numbers and the fireworks
Needing a new start
Needing to be better
I think I am now better
I don't need a fresh start
I'm happy in the one I'm in
I'm wearing nail polish that I would've scorned at a year ago
But for all the changes
I've got the same resolution
Be happy

A bit late but if that's not on track. Happy new year, look forward for my poem a week for this year. I'm looking forward to mark this one as completed. Thanks everyone for reading and all the votes and comments. I hope looking back it will be a good tracking mechanism of my year.
