shawn,

"so what did you do with lauren last night?" my best bud, cameron asked.

"none of your business dude. don't play" i said.

"just curious" he shrugged.

"we seriously didn't do anything" i said looking at him.

"i don't believe it, she's too pretty" she said.

he better watch what he says.

"dude, she's more than that, she's beautiful and intelligent. last night we talked for hours about things i've never told anyone but with her, it's different, it's special" i said describing how i was feeling.

"woah, bro, you really love this girl" he said.

"yeah.. i guess i do" i smiled at the thought.

i've never loved anyone before but if that's what this feeling is then yeah i love her.

"hey" i said walking up to lauren.

"hi" she smiled when she saw me.

she was alone.

"are you alone today?" i asked her.

"uh yeah. the cuzo's are at the doctor." she explained.

"so i get you to myself" i smiled.

"guess you do" she smiled

"so my sister is getting married this weekend and i have a plus one. would you like to be it?" i asked.

"sure. i would love to" she said.

"let me walk you to class" i said and grabbed her hand.

we walked down the hallway together talking about things.

we reached the chemistry room.

"i think it's time you move seats" i said to her.

i didn't want her to sit by samantha anymore.

i wanted her to sit next to me.

i wanted to look over and see her face when i wanted throughout the class.

"okay where would i go?" she asked.

"right next to me" i said.

"lead the way, shawnie boo" she joked remembering what samantha has called me last friday.

"oh god please don't say that" i chuckled.

"don't worry, i will never call you that" she smiled.

we reached my end of the room.

she sat in the empty desk in front of me.

and the whole class period, i didn't pay attention to anything, mrs. root was saying.

i kept playing with her hair.

i was twisting it and bouncing it.

i was just playing with it the whole time.

i was so focused on what i was doing with her hair.

her hair was gorgeous. one of the many features i loved about her.

the bell rang making me jump.

"you have fun?" she asked as we both stood up.

"i did. i like your hair" i smiled.

"well my hair likes you too" she chuckled.

"come on, let's get out of here" he said.

we were walking down the hallway.

"i could feel samantha staring at me the whole time. i think she was jealous" lauren pointed out.

"good. maybe she'll leave you and me alone finally then" i said.

"doubt it, probably just made her mad but who cares" she said.

we reached lauren's locker.

she opened it and put her chemistry book inside.

"i have football practice after school, will you stay and watch?" i asked her.

"you want me to watch?" she asked.

"yeah, i like having you out there." i said staring at her.

she was so beautiful.

"okay, i'll stay.. as long as you let me get you something to wear to this wedding" she said.

"fine by me." i said.

"okay" she said. "let's go"

and we walked to my locker now where cameron and bryce were standing.

bryce is another one of my friends.

"hey guys, what's up?" i said.

"oh i see you were with lauren here" cameron said.

"yeah. lauren, this is cameron and bryce. my friends" i introduced.

"hi" she said.

"it's nice to finally meet you, lauren." cameron smiled.

"you guys too" she smiled at them.

"we will go then. see you at practice" bryce said and they left us.

"you're friends are cool" she said.

"they're boring. but i've known em forever" i said.

"i get it" she said.

i put my book up and then i walked her to her next class.
