lauren,

2 weeks later

i've decided to give shawn another chance but if he messes this up, i'm done with him.

we've been happy.

"good morning, beautiful" shawn said from beside me.

i slept over at his house last night.

my mom is out of town again, she has been a lot lately.

and i didn't want to be alone last night, so i stayed with shawn.

"hey" i smiled and kissed him.

"want me make us some breakfast?" he asked.

"you don't have to" i said.

"you're always hungry so i'm making you food" he smiled and got up.

i smiled as he walked out the room.

so i just laid here on his bed.

feeling safe.

i got up and walked in the kitchen where shawn was.

i wrapped my arms around his waist and just hugged him.

i felt him put his hand on mine.

he spun me around and looked at me.

his hands on my face.

"you're so beautiful" he smiled at me.

"you are too" i said.

"i'm beautiful?" he asked. "i feel so special"

i just laughed at him.

"you are. you have a beautiful smile. and a perfect face, also perfect hair" i chuckled.

"you're crazy" he said.

"we're both crazy" i said.

"yeah that's true. that's why we're a perfect match"

"yeah" i said.

"after we eat, i'm gonna take you home so you can get dressed and then i'm taking you on a date" he said.

"a date? to where?"

"well i guess you'll just have to wait and see" he said.

"shawn, i don't like surprises" i whined.

"you'll just have to wait"

"why can't you tell me?"

"because i like watching you ask me, and get anxious about what we're doing" he joked.

"i hate you" i said sarcastically.

"love you too" he kissed my head.

i was in my room looking for the perfect outfit to wear on our date today.

i was so happy to be back with shawn.

yes, i had some doubts but i also love him.

and i've never loved someone like i loved him.

after i got dressed, i walked out and back to shawn.

"hey" he smiled at me.

"hi" i said.

"you ready?" he asked me.

"yes" i said.

he grabbed my hand and led me to the car.
