lauren,

"i wasn't sure what size you wear but these seemed like it" i said handing shawn a sky blue tie and some vans i bought him.

"you bought me shoes?" he asked.

"yeah. i thought it would be cute." i shrugged.

"is it too much? because i can take-"

"stop talking." he interrupted me with a smile.

"it's not too much. thank you, lauren" he chuckled and opened the box

"i'll put them on" he said.

he was already wearing his tux.

he sat there for a few minutes trying to put it on

"do you need some help?" i asked.

"yeah i'm not good at this i guess" he chuckled.

"i'll help you" i stood up from his bed and stood close to him and helped him put the tie on correctly.

he kept looking at me as i did it, which made i really hard to focus.

"you can't look at me like that when i'm trying to do this" i said quietly.

"like what?" he asked.

my attention now on him.

he was still looking at me, like i'm this special person.

which i'm definitely not.

"like that" i whispered and looked away.

i finished with his tie.

"there. all done." i said and sat back down.

"is your mom coming to your sisters wedding?" i asked.

"i don't know. i guess we will find out" he said holding his hand out.

i grabbed it.

he had his shoes on.

he was wearing his black tux with the blue tie i got him, and then he wore checkered matching blue vans.

i wore a black dress type thing and some same color blue vans.

"come on" he said and we left his house.

he opened the car door for me.

"thank you" i said and got in.

i buckled my seat belt.

he started driving and about fifteen minutes later we arrived at the wedding.

there were already so many cars here.

all of his family was probably here too.

i guess you could say i'm nervous.

we both got out the car.

and he grabbed my hand and we walked inside together.

"shawn!" a lady who looked about her mid thirties walked up to us.

"hello, aunt jess" he smiled and hugged her but didn't let go of my hand.

i just stood there weirdly.

"how are you doing? it's been so long since i last saw you!" she smiled.

"i'm doing great." he said.

"this is lauren. she's my date" shawn introduced me to her.

"lauren. how pretty. it's so nice to meet you, lauren." she smiled and hugged me.
