chapter twenty three

lauren,

"lauren get up!!" shawn groaned as he threw a pillow at me.

it was our second day here in florida which is where we're. kind of ironic since i'll be going to school here. 

"i want to sleep" i said burying myself more into the pillow.

"laur, pleaseee. i miss you" he said taking the pillow from under me.

i just stayed, with my eyes closed.

i felt him pick me up and my eyes shot open.

"shawn! put me down, please" i cried out.

"never." he laughed as he looked at me.

"please?" i said.

"only because i love you" he said.

"thank you!!" i smiled widely as he let me down.

i reached up and placed one single kiss on his lips.

"i want to go to the beach today" i said.

"let's go, then" he smiled.

i went to my suitcase and pulled out one of my bikinis and got changed into it.

shawn changes into his bathing suit as well.

we walked out the room and told hailey and cam we were going down and they said they'd meet us later.

"come in the water with me" he said.

"alright" i said.

i took my cover up off and shawn was just staring at me.

it made me feel insecure but when i saw his big goofy grin.

i knew it was because he thought i was beautiful.

he held his hand out, so i grabbed it and we ran into the water.

he threw me in making me go under.

i came up, with my hair soaking wet.

"oh my god, i'm gonna kill you" i said but was laughing the whole time.

i jumped on his back and pushed him down so he'd go under.

"hey, no!" he was saying and we ended up both falling under.

it was funny when we came up.

"i can't see you" i was laughing as i held my arms out in front of me trying to find him like a zombie.

"i'm.. right here" shawn said as he jumped on me making us fall again.

"shawn!" i exclaimed but came up and could see him this time.

"hey cutie" he smiled when i came up.

"i hate you so much" i said.

"i hate you more" he said and wrapped his arms around me.

he picked me up.

then he put me down again, and smiled down at me.

"you're so perfect" he mumbled.

"you're so sweet" i smiled.

"incoming!!" i saw cameron running and he jumped right in the middle of us making water splash all over us.

"cameron!" i yelled.

hailey ran in after but she didn't splash.

and for the day, we just splashed each other in the water, and played games and just had fun.

it was so much fun, i loved being in this place with them.

they made everything so much easier.

i was so happy in this moment.

the happiest i've ever been in my entire life.

i never want this feeling to go away because i love it.
