I smiled softly at my husband, Arkin, who softly touched my swollen stomach. Arkin was sure the child was gonna be a boy. I hoped for nothing but a healthy child. This peaceful moment was cut short by the screams of our village. Arkin stands and I follow behind him. He opens the drape of our hut, ice splits the lands. My siblings turn to ice, I let out a loud scream clutching onto Arkin in fear. I watched as the trees turn to ice and fall as giants made their way through our city. My sister's ice statues collapsing as their weight thundered through our village. Arkin grabs my hand and we try to run before we got killed. I turned back to see a giant following us.

"Arkin!" I screamed but it was too late. Blood spills from Arkin's lips and he falls to his knees. An icicle sticks out of his chest. He looks up at me helplessly. I fall to my knees beside him tears running down my face. Arkin's breathing becomes labored. I lean down into him as he dies. I look back up at the giants that slaughtered my town.

I placed my hand into the ground and used the one thing I vowed never to use again. My hands glowed red as I let out a scream. I stood with my hands raised glaring at the giants as the chants fell from my lips. Giants fell clutching their heads. I clenched my fists pulling my hands apart watching as the giants exploded into pieces. I gasped inward falling onto my knees in exhaustion holding my stomach as I cried.
