Chapter Twenty-Seven

Thank God for Noah!

Mabilis na binitawan ni Marco ang kamay ko. I didn't even know why he suddenly got so aggressive. Kung tumagal pa ang pagkakahawak niya sa kamay ko, siguro mas namula pa ito.

Nagulat rin si Julienne sa naging reaksyon ni Noah but who cares about her? Siya ang nagsimula ng misunderstanding na ito, wala na akong pakialam kung masaktan man siya emotionally sa mga kinikilos ni Noah.

"Sigawan mo pa ako Marco and I will frigging slap you with a frying pan!"

Hindi ko na napigilang hindi sigawan pabalik si Marco. He is crossing the line here and he needs to know that.

"Sinigawan ka ni Marco?" mahinahong tanong sa akin ni Noah.

I pouted and nodded my head. Paunti-unti na rin talagang nawawala ang pasensya ko kay Marco.

Lumapit sa akin si Noah at tinignan ang kamay kong hinawakan ni Marco.

"I will handle this," Noah whispered to me. I nodded again.

Hinila ko si Suzie papunta sa likod ni Noah. We both shielded ourselves behind Noah. They need to be reminded that they can't easily bully me here!

"What the hell are you even doing, Marco?" Noah sounded so annoyed with Marco right now. I can't blame him. I'm annoyed at Marco as much as he is.

Marco facepalmed. He looked so frustrated with what's happening.

"If Suzie apologizes now, then we can resume our shooting. Nadelay na masyado ang shooting natin, we can't delay any longer just because Suzie won't apologize to our staff member. We can't even take her out of the show dahil naannounce na sa publikong kasama siya." Marco started to explain.

Nilingon ako ni Noah. I communicated with him through my eyes, telling him to defend Suzie dahil siya naman talaga ang biktima dito. And she doesn't need to apologize for being humiliated the way that staff member humiliated her.

"And what does that have to do with you holding my girlfriend's hand?" Noah challenged him.

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Noah but I tried to calm myself.

"Okay, okay. I'm sorry, nadala lang rin ako sa emosyon ko." Marco defended himself.

Tinaasan siya ng kilay ni Noah and he looked more helpless in front of my boyfriend.

Take note, 'my boyfriend' na talaga. I'm claiming it while he's still mine.

"Saka pasensya na. Nasanay lang akong sinasaway ko noon si Julia sa mga mali niya." he continued.

My jaw dropped at his reply and tried to weigh Noah's reaction. Buti nalang, medyo hindi naman nairita si Noah sa sagot niya.

"But Suzie doesn't need to go back there and be humiliated again!" I shrieked back at him nang naramdaman kong walang balak sumagot si Noah.

I glared at Julienne when she was about to speak, making her stop her stupid scheming mouth from speaking.

"Noah and Julia, you should not even be involved with this mess in the first place. Kung hindi mo tinago si Suzie—"

What kind of crap is that? Unang una sa lahat, si Suzie ang kusang nagtago sa tentko. At ikalawa, they were forcing Suzie to do something against her will. They were almost persecuting her and it's wrong!

"Okay."

Napalingon ako sa katabi ko nang nagsalita siya at naglakad patungo kay Marco. I wanted to grab her hand back to me but she made sure I won't reach her hand.
