"Oh, son of a Mew." Was the first thing that came out of Sakyhs mouth as she awoke from her sleepy state. She had just woken up about 10 minutes ago and chose to simply lay in bed and look around her room so she could comfortably wake up, well if she could resist sleep that is. She won the fight over sleep, though her laziness was kicking herself for not going back to sleep, and trailed her eyes over her room, landing on an outfit hanging from the hook next to her closet. The outfit should have been a dark pair of jeans that hugged her thighs and flared out just a bit around her ankles paired with a slightly tight teal half sleeve shirt. What was left in its place though was something she didnt put there. In place of her chosen outfit was a teal dress that had a red stripe around its slanted edge. The slant started about just above her right knee and ended in a point midcalf of her left leg. The top of the dress was a slightly hugging, sleeveless and the head opening was close to the neck but dropped into a small 'V' that would go only an inch or two past her collarbone.
Sakyh hesitantly pushed her warm covers back so she could get up like she had planned the day before. She stepped toward the outfit slowly praying she was still dreaming. The second her fingers brushed up against nice soft fabric she let a whine leave her lips. The dress was real which meant one thing. Her mother was finally back. Now most girls would be ecstatic to find out their mother was home and had gotten them a dress. Those girls were not Sakyh. Sure when she was younger she had a small girly phase but that was long gone. With her basically three fathers she grew into a tomboy pretty quick, much to her fathers and her later relief.
"Hughh...I guess I better get ready then" Sakyh quietly mumbled to herself. She glanced at her closet with sadness. Her mother was a smart woman and knew her well. The closet door slowly slides open to reveal an almost empty closet. The almost part being nothing but other dressed her mother had gotten her over the years. Her mother had learned to hide her other clothes or she would just put the dress back in her closet and wear jeans and a t-shirt. Not even bothering to close her close, Sakyh stepped away from it while taking the dress into her hands and toward the dresser in her room. It was time to get up anyway so she might as well get it over with so she could go find where her mother hide her clothes this time.
45 minutes later
*Squeal* "The dress fits you perfectly! Stitchy sure does know how to design clothes that suit you." The gentle voice of a cobalt haired women rings out.
"Mom. When are you and tia going to stop playing dress up with me?" Sakyh asks with a pleading look in her eyes.
A giggle was the only response she received. A sigh passes the younger girls lips as she looks down for a minute in defeat. Hearing small clicks she groaned quietly. Slowly she stood up straight and looked over to her mother before giving her a nice smile.
Snap!
"And that will be sent to your aunt!" her mother states in triumph.
"Where's papa?"
"Nowhere you need to know for the time being. Now we need to hurry we have to go to the store fo—"
*coughing* "Autumn! I thought we talked about this! You have to warn me first!" comes the distressed voice of her father.
Quickly snapping around Sakyh rushes to her father and hugs onto him. "Papa please tell me you know where my clothes are," Sakyh speaks looking up at him pleadingly. Her blue eyes seeming to twinkle up at him big and round.
A sympathizing look took over his face as he stared at her. A thin hand gently plopped onto the girls head and ran through her hair gently. "I'm sorry but not this time." He told her with a small smile. Sure he hated that she got dressed up since that would give boys reasons to look over to his daughter, but he also liked it since he got to see her as his beautiful little girl. Beautiful just like what her name represented.
