Chapter 19: Round 2- The Cavalry Battle (Part 2)

"Oi! Singing girl look whos back!" A familiar voice shouts out from close to the group.

Sakyh and her team quickly whip around to find the Beast boy and his partner rushing toward them.

"You won't get away with stealing our headband along with the ones Monoma took!"

Sakyh and her group quickly glance around to make sure he was the only one that was close by. The team rushed forward with the boys quirk already active. Sakyh quickly lifted her still rock covered arm to block a punch before she swatted his other away. The riders were once again locked in a boxing like match as they tried to either take or keep their bands.

Suddenly static filled the air moments before electricity raked over every team that was on the left side of the field. The only one not very affected was Zukero due to his earth quirk channeling it straight to the ground. It also saved his teammates from feeling the full force of the shock since they were touching him.

Once the shocks initial attack ended, Sakyhs team took a few shaky steps away from the still rattled team before them. Before they could turn tail and run though the team of two rushed right back in to attack. The team got only three jabs in before a chill rushed up their spines. Glancing down they noticed their feet covered in ice.

"Ah f*—"

"Hitoshi!" Zukero warned while trying to use his earth quirk to break the ice. His hopes were dashed as the rock only put small dents into it. It would take quite a bit of time before they could get out.

Sakyh quickly brought her hands up to guard as the boy before them made another attempt at the headbands she had. She bit her lip to suppress a whine from a new cut she just received. The rock on her arm slowly began to chip away until there was nothing left.

"Huh, your defense is gone now. So hand those back over to me!" Rin shouted while making an attempt.

All Sakyh could do now was swat his hands away while slowly gaining more and more cuts thanks to his scales. She began to panic wondering just how they were going to win this. Looking slightly to her left she noticed that Uzenochu was still a bit dazed by the electricity making her glitter zip in odd directions suddenly. She wouldn't be very much help at the moment until she shook off the effects. Hitoshi's quirk also couldn't help her other than stabilizing her wounds so they would clot quicker and he had to be at his limit given the time. It seemed just as she thought that the small areas that were tight in her arm returned to normal. Another thing that freaked the whole group out was the fact that Hitoshi's stabilizing quirk had been the only thing to be holding Uzenochu up. With the quirk now gone the team began to tumble over as Sakyh had just taken a hit in that direction. Sakyh tried to balance herself but couldnt as she dodged an attack. She flailed a little to try and gain any form of balance.

Out of nowhere, a warm arm wrapped around her torso just under her chest that pulled her backward. A squeak of surprise left her as she finally gained stability with something up against her back, her arm planted on someone's shoulder, and an arm under her legs.

"Huh! What's up with your team Snowpup? You just let the same thing happen to you!" Bakugos voice taunted out.

Sakyh quickly threw her head back in surprise and from Bakugos other hand sweeping up the headbands around her neck. He left two of his fingers out which barley snagged her teams' original headband away form her. Her eyes met his seeing the prideful look along with his smug smirk. Sakyhs cheeks quickly turned a roaring red color before she was pulled up into his lap for a moment.

"Woah! What is this?! Bakugo just swept Yagi right up saving her from tumbling down to the frozen floor. What will the judge think about this one? A certain someone's parent is hacking up a storm in the stands below us right now!"
