Chapter 21: The Trouble a Uniform Can Cause

"Get back here Snowpup!" Bakugo roared as the chased a certain cobalt haired girl down the UA stadium corridors.

"No! I don't wanna die yet!" Sakyh shouted back while praying she was heading toward the stadiums field. She just had to enter into the cameras view and she would be safe for a few hours. She quickly turned a corner to see the field appear a few meters away. She was almost there! Her feet thumped against the concrete floors until only grass was left underneath. A few feet from the corridor she came to a stop and slouched over some with a hand over her heart.

"Woaw! Hey are you ok?" Urarakas concern voice pipped up.

Sakyh tilted her head up and gave the girl a small smile. "Y-yeah. S-Sorry, I was running from Bakugo." She got out between slight breaths. Her eyes then took notice of what exactly the zero-gravity girl was wearing. "Um. Why are you dressed up like a cheerleader?"

Uraraka gave a nervous chuckle as she felt a little exposed in the orange outfit that had lines of green and yellow as accents.

The top had UA written in green block letters that was outlined in yellow. There was a white stripe that stretched across the front of the top that the letters rested on. The rest of the top was orange with a thin strip of green just inches from the bottom of the crop top like top. The skirt was a simple pleated orange skirt that had a strip of green just an inch off the bottom of the skirt. There was a little choker like necklace piece that pointed down in the front that was green on the outside with a strip of yellow in the middle.

"W-well, I was told all the girls had to wear these for a cheer battle that were supposed to have. Where is your uniform?" the girl gravity girl questioned nervously.

Sakyh straightened up and tilted her head at the girl. "Cheer battle? There are supposed to be cheerleaders from America here. I wasn't told anything about a cheer battle." Sakyh told her gently.

Urarakas face fell hearing those words. "W-wait so your saying we didn't need to wear these!" she shrieked.

Sakyhs right hand quickly found its way into her bangs as she gave the girl a sympathetic smile. "I'm afraid not." She said before feeling a burning hand land on her shoulder. She tensed before slowly turning her head to find Bakugo glaring at her.

Before the ash-blonde could say anything Denki and Mineta quickly rushed up to the two.

"There you are! Recovery girl asked us to give you this before you came out of the tunnel. Sorry we were a bit late in finding you." Denki smoothly voiced though his face held a certain degree of nervousness.

"Here! They didn't know if they were going to be able to make uniforms for the new classes in time so you probably weren't told about it in advance." Mineta tried to lie while holding out a clear bag that held what looked like another cheer uniform that matched Urarakas.

Sakyh took a small step back away from the two, unintentionally toward Bakugo. "Oh, w-well, I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to pass. T-that shows way too much s-skin." She tried to reason.

Mineta only seemed to follow her with a hopeful look in his eyes. "We were told to give it to you. Do you want us to get in trouble for not doing what was asked of us?"

Sakyhs face quickly fell to a conflicted and nervous look. "I-I wasn't t-told about this t-though..." she mumbled out while reluctantly reaching for the uniform.

"Get those foam fingers in the air! It's almost time for the last round! But before that: Good news for everyone who didn't make the finals. Since this is a sports festival, weve prepared some super-fun side games everyone can participate in! We even brought in cheerleaders from America to get your blood pumping!"
