"Don't be nervous, Dear, you'll do great." Autumn told her daughter encouragingly.
"You always do better than you think you do. Just take your test, come home and destress with writing or drawing like you always do." Her father joined in as he finished putting his shoes on.
"I'm gonna fail it...I feel confident in a few but history I'm sure I'm gonna fail.." Sakyh sulked as she leaned her head against the door. Her mind was racing, trying to go through the study guide she made in her head.
Both parents shook their head at their overthinking girl. They shared a quick kiss before hearing a gag from behind them.
"I don't care if I like you two, kissing is still gross." Kugo told them. He quickly squeezed by their legs to Sakyh. Attaching to her leg like a little Koala, he stared up at her. "Why cant I come to school with you today? It was fine last week for me to be with you even in class wasn't it?"
Snapping out of her thoughts she met his eyes before lifting him up into her arms. Snuggling her face against his shoulder while squeezing him lightly sent a relaxing chill down her body. "I wish you could come with me today too Kugo but if you do I wouldn't be fully focused on my tests. Plus the teachers, or other students, would probably think you were helping me cheat if you were in the room."
Kugo pouted at her affection at first but buried himself in her warm embrace a few seconds later. "Bulllsh*t. They can think what they want but we know I wouldn't help you. You can pass the tests by yourself...If not you really are a Loser."
A giggle left Sakyhs lips at this rude remark. Giving him one final squeeze, she lifted her head and kissed his cheek. Smiling at his red cheeks and his glare she began to talk. "Well thanks, Little Mister. You be good for Mom, ok. Once I get back we can play whatever you want."
"Then hurry up and go take these tests so we can play at the park! I want to play on the hill or explore the woods!" he exclaimed already picturing what he could find there.
GigglingSakyh set the boy down and looked at her father. With one more deep breath, shefollowed him out of the house with a goodbye of her own to her mother. Her andher father walked in silence as they thought about what the next three dayswould entail. The silence continued even when a certain explosive boy joinedthem on the path.
Time skip to Lunch
"I'm scared, I think I did good on my test." Sakyh informed her two friends as they waited for Bakugo and his friends, gang in his opinion, to join them.
"That's better than hearing you sulk about failing." Hitoshi commented.
"Dude you remember she normally flops when she says that so don't push it. You know she's a fragile thing when it comes to grades." Zukero lightly scolds before looking over to the blue haired girl.
"I f*cking failed it!" she whined with tears threatening to fall from her eyes before she dropped her head onto the table. "All that studying and losing sleep for nothing..."
"Whoa! No, no, no! The Queen of Insanity doesn't curse! That's the kings job!" Mina dramatically voiced as her and the others finally join the table.
"Whats got you so down? Were you guys tests that hard?" Kiminari questioned slightly fearful.
"Sakyh here thinks she did good on her tests. That translates to failing in her book. She's just complicated." Hitoshi answered.
"She's always complicated. How the hell is this any different? Sit up and toughen up Snowpup. I'm not about to deal with you being dramatic too. This table needs some sanity other than mine." Bakugo snapped at her.
