Chapter 16: Another Rescue Attempt! (OVA 1) Part 2

The honest look in Sakyhs eyes made Bakugo freeze. Related? To All Might? There was no way. Sure, there weren't any articles about his personal life since no one knew who his real identity was but... Could he have a family hidden away? Could she be a niece or something to him? He had met her father and mother before so parent was out of the picture. Bakugos eyes widened as a thought hit him. Her father... he had the blonde hair and blue eyes... C-could he be All Mights brother? Or close relative? It couldn't be!... But it fit since there weren't any records of his hero name helping All Might at all. That could be a way to keep their ties to each other a secret, so he didn't have any weaknesses. That explained the bond Sakyh and All Might had.

"Holy Mew." Sakyh unintentionally whispered. She herself froze in shock seeing Bakugos face go from angry, to confused, to shock. Did she just break him?

That broke Bakugo out of his unbelievable thoughts. His red eyes quickly snapped back to her blue ones, his face vulnerable for a few seconds as her words registered.

Before the Bakugo could even attempt to say anything back the two felt a large tremor rush through the ground. The vibrations were enough to make the perfectly leaned wall to shift and try to collapse on the two. Bakugo wasted no time in shooting around and blasting the wall to pieces. Sakyh raised her hands, setting them on his shoulders in an effort to help stabilize him some. Once the debris and dust cleared they looked around with a slightly nervous expression.

Crack! CCCRRRAACK!

The two quickly jumped to their feet and ran to the closest window. Bakugo quickly wrapped an arm around Sakyh, who in turn threw her arm around his shoulders, as they both jumped out of the large window. Once in the air, the two tightened their grip, pulling them toward each other. Bakugo used his other arm to create a blast to get them further from the building while Sakyh quickly wrapped her other arm around him. Bakugo released his hold on her and adjusted his quirk to let both hands propel them further up into the air as the building collapsed. Both watched as the building crumbled until it stopped moving. They looked at the nearby buildings to see them shake as if they might collapse too but in the end, they remained standing.

Boom!

The two looked off toward the noise to see dust flared up in the air and buildings shaking. Neither bothered to say a word as Bakugo launched them in that direction.

It wasn't long before another boom filled the air, this time much bigger than before. Buildings began falling over and the wind whipped the air in all directions filled with dust. This caused Bakugo to drop both him and Sakyh onto a roof before they were blown away from the cause. As the wind and dust calmed down the two rushed to get a look at the situation. Neither one could believe the damage they saw before them.

There were buildings collapsed, knocked down, broken to pieces, or just flat out gone. Standing in the middle of the now cleared area was a single person who stood tall. Covering their face was a gas like mask that was half-orange, half-gray, with metal fanning around the top like feathers. To cover their large muscular build was a tight, long-sleeved black shirt, and a pair of grayish-green pants. Over the shoulders were shoulder pads with 3 large spikes coming out of them. Covering his feet were a pair of black boots. But what was most shocking to notice was that the character seemed to be carrying an unconscious person with them by their shirt.

"H-h-hey isn't that Todo...Todo-something?" Sakyh tried to question. She always was terrible with names and at times like this she always felt bad for it.

"Yeah, that's Half-and-half," Bakugo stated with his glare and scowl set on his face. The boy then stepped onto the ledge of the building the two were on. "Let's get going before they notice us. You check the others and if they're fine you better jump in so we can take this guy down. We're going to be the top team when we take him down!" Bakugo growled out with a smirk.
