Chapter 10: Lunch Alarms and Costumes

"I still can't believe he slipped up..." Sakyh mumbled slightly grumpy thanks to her sleepy morning nature.

"It isn't ideal no but at least he wasn't believed." The voice of her father replied back to her, in his none hero voice.

Sakyh sighed and adjusted her bag that was slung around her shoulders. A sleepy pout was present on her face with her bangs making a slight shadow over her eyes. "Let's hope Bakugo doesn't figure it out and leaves it as just an excuse." She mumbles again.

"It seems I really do have to watch young Bakugo more..." her father says with a sigh.

Sakyh looked over to her father with a sympathetic smile. His figure was now slumped as he walked and his face slowly fading into a thinking expression. He just never could catch a break, could he? Slowly she reached her arm out to link with her fathers and rested her head against his arm as they walked gently. She felt his arm tense up at the sudden contact that broke him from his trance. She tilted her head up a little and smiled at her father.

A gentle smile crept up the blonde man's face and his figure relaxed. He lifted his other arm up and gently popped her on the nose. His daughter drew her face away from his still lifted finger while blinking, a small meow like noise leaving her lips with the action. She then set her head back against his arm but looking forward with a happy little smile on her face. "What would I do without you and your mother?" he lightly questioned aloud.

In Class 1-L

"Alright, class settle down." The calm but energetic voice of their teacher called out.

The small chatter of students slowly drained until it was completely silent.

"Today I wanted to tell you all about a joint training exercise we will be doing tomorrow and the day after. I would have told you all this before but Yagi wasn't here to hear it so I waited. Tomorrow half of you will be joining class 1-A in their rescue training. The other half will be joining class 1-B the day after. You all will be acting as the victims in all the situations and spread out throughout the facility we will be using. Once you have been rescued you will be free to assist the heroes as the sidekicks you all hope to become. And before all of you ask, yes you will be given your costumes to use that day. Sorry, it took so long but the hero course costumes had higher priority thanks to their class plans." Mr. Aiza explains.

Murmurs of happiness filled the room hearing that their costumes were going to be given out.

A small smile rose to the teacher's lips hearing the students buzz with excitement. "I know, I know. It's exciting to hear you will be getting your costumes but you should save it for when you actually get them. I will be with you all for this exercise. The students who are waiting will be sent to the hero class they're assigned with to work on getting to know them some and teamwork exercises."

A hand from a student in the back of the room shot up. After being acknowledged, the student stated their question.

"So for the teamwork thing will we be doing it as a class with anyone or are we in groups or partners?"

"For those exercises, you will be placed in pairs that match your student numbers. For those in the 21-40 section, you will simply act like your numbers fit the range. For example, 21 will act like 1 is their number and so on."

"What if our quirks don't match up to the student we are assigned?" another student questions.

"We have thought ahead about that and have already check this so there's no need to worry. Your numbers were randomly chosen by computers but we changed pairings if there were conflicts with how your quirk worked. Also, some pairs may seem like they don't work but were kept because in the end it may help make your quirk stronger and more resistant or durable to its weakness." Aiza stated before a stern look covered his face. "There will be no changing these pairings what so ever so done even bother asking. Does everyone understand?"
