Hello everyone! I hope you all are having/had an amazing day. The gap from me last updating left the story to get 1.33K views! That's mind blowing. I'd like to thank all of you, for probably the millionth time again. If yall are hoping for some kind of special content for reaching 1k views then I could probably come up with something or just post some poems I wrote during a creative writing class if yall would like. I have four new chapters ready to go, all I have to do is transfer them on here. It'll take me a bit but they will be up today. I'm sorry if they aren't as action packed as the anime makes the sports festival but I didn't want to pretty much copy and paste the events here since my OC doesn't really have much to add to the fights. I think that would be pretty boring for yall since many have either read the manga or seen the anime and know what happen. I hope I made this arc at least a little enjoyable for yall but if not let me know and I can retry it and see if yall like it better. So I hope yall like the chapters. See yall next time. ~SakyhC89
The first round of the tournament started and seemed like it would end just as quick. Sakyh watched as Shinso had made a few comments about Ojiro that set Midoriya off enough to shout at his opponent. The most confusing thing happened though. Midoriya suddenly went quiet and stopped his advance toward Shinso.
Sakyh tilted her head confused. She knew she had heard him start to shout but it had ended in seconds before his standstill. How did he freeze up just like that?
"Huh?! Hey, hey... whats the dealio? It should start out with a bang! The fight has just begun and Izuku Midoriya is completely frozen? He's not moving a muscle! And what's with that look on his face? Could this be a quirk at work?! Hitoshi Shinso seems to have Izuku Midoriya completely stunned! He didn't stand out in the first rounds at all, but it's possible that Shinso's crazy powerful! Who could have imagined this turn of events?! That's the Festival for ya!" Present Mic exclaims over the stadium speakers.
Her eyes widened as he turned around and began to walk toward the white boundary they couldn't cross or they would be disqualified. "What are you doing?" Sakyh quietly whispered to herself in shock.
"This is a perfect example of why the entrance exam isn't rational," Aizawa adds in.
"Huh? What?! Ah, Midoriya's obeying him!" Present Mic shouts.
Just over at the end of the tunnel Midoriya had walked out of was All Might. He was freaking out and mumbling like Midoriya often did as he watched his successor slowly walk toward his defeat. Suddenly he saw the white haze in the boys' eyes clear back to their original emerald color. His view was blocked however as a wind gust rushed out from him leaving him in suspense of what had happened.
"What's this? Midoriya stopped just in time!" Present Mic announced making the crowd roar in excitement.
Sakyh along with a few others that were friends with Midoriya sighed in relief as he would get the chance to actually participate in his match. And so, with that Midoriya shook his head and rushed Shinso. The boy immediately began rambling off about not having a 'heroic' quirk trying desperately to get Midoriya to answer him again. With the strength, he gained from his 10-month training Midoriya began to push Shinso toward the out of bounce line with very little resistance. Once he was closer to the edge however Shinso punched Midoriya across the face and on his now broken fingers before switching their position. It didn't last long however as Midoriya quickly planted his feet and tossed Shinso over his body just like he had Bakugo back when they were in battle training with All Might.
"Shinso is out of bounds! Midoriya advances to the next match!" Midnight declares making the crowd go nuts once again.
The large screen in the stadium suddenly blinked to life with a small electronic squeak. On display was Present Mic up in the pressbox. "That was actually kind of a boring first match, kids. But both of you fought bravely. Let's show them some love everyone!"
