A little authors note: I am terrible at fighting scenes so these next few chapters, or any chapters, with fighting in them may suck. I will do my best to try and make them nice and actiony but if I fail to do that then Im sorry! Also I will be adding a little note that's about a link to youtube for a song in here just so ya'll have a heads up.
"Get back here you brat!" a males voice echoes through the rainy rundown building.
Not far from the pair was Sakyh who was rushing toward the open patch of flooring. She was currently on the 6th floor and thankfully hadn't gotten hurt at all. Quickly reaching the opening she hopped down to the floor below and rushed off as the floors creaked and cracked at the sudden impact.
"The f*ck was that?" one of the men questioned.
"It sounded like it came from this way"
The footsteps from above her seemed to disappear for a bit as she rounded her away back to the stairs. She made sure to pay attention to the holes in the floor and hopped through certain areas to slowly get to the bottom floor. It would be safer outside the building if possible but the bottom floor would be a way better bet if she was caught and had to fight the two.
Suddenly a breeze quickly shot through the building forcing Sakyh to tumble down the stairs she was currently running down. She hissed in pain as she felt something tear into the exposed skin on her left thigh. Looking down she noticed it was a piece of broken metal from the stairs railing. Just great, she was probably going to need a tetanus shot after this. Taking a deep breath she reached her hand around the metal piece and pulled it from her leg. She winced as she got up and tossed the shard away before rushing down the stairs hearing the two men's voices start to return.
"How fast can this girl be! You sure she got that far down the building?"
"You sayin' my quirk can't find her in this old building?!"
"How is wind gonna find her in this environment dude?!"
Sakyh wasted no time in getting away from the stairs and bolting around the 3rd floor. If she could have just gotten down 2 more flights she would have been safe but if they had a wind quirk they were probably going to glide down them now. Sakyh rushed into a room that had a balcony and quickly looked over the edge.
"Oh come! Did the wind really knock the ladder down a minute ago," she mumbled to herself as she saw the metal fire escape ladder now laying along the floor 3 stories done. "Ok, Sakyh think what can you do from right here to get you down?" she thought. Just then another breeze began to glide over her skin. She quickly grabbed onto the balcony railing as the breeze picked up enough to lift her off her feet. She quickly inches her way back to the wall and set her feet against it so if she lost her grip she wouldn't be through into another wall. As her feet touched it the breeze seemed to pick up and she heard voices.
"She's on the third floor come on! I should have her pinned unless she wants the building to collapse."
"What can I do, what can I do, what can I do? Think stupid!" Sakyh started to ramble to herself as adrenaline rushed through her body. By now she should have been used to being chased by people but every time it seemed like a new experience. Though after a few scattered thoughts an idea popped into her head. "Oh, Mew please let this work." Ever so slowly she began to let the balcony railing go. Her body shifted as she adjusted her stance with the wind and was amazed to find she wasn't falling down onto the railing. Testingly she moves an arm out to next to her and away from the railing. Her other hand followed, then a foot, and another. Soon she was about a foot from the balcony squatted down like a frog. "Holy Arceus this is gonna work!" Sakyh excitedly shrieks out with a smile. Not wanting to waste any more time she quickly crawled her way down the rest of the building.
