Chapter 18

Merida's Point of View

I arrived at Dunborch and now I am eating with my family. I sure had fun with Merida and Astrid. We swam built a snow- I mean sandman and more stuff. I missed them so much!

"I think you're going to Berk more often..." Dad said taking a bite of his fried chicken.

"I missed my friend Astrid and Hiccup!" I said.

"Hiccup? Your friend? Or more than...friends?" Mum said smiling mischievously. My eyes widened in shock. WHAT?!

"What are ye thinking about?!" I said, shcoked. They laughed.

"You like Hiccup, don't you?" Mum said. I shook my head and my red hair hit my face.

"NO I DON'T!" I said. They laughed, again. Harder this time.

"Come on! Admit it red head! You like him!" Mom teased me again. I smiled and rolled my eyes.

"Whatever..." I said and I started to eat again. After that, I went to my room. Do I like Hiccup? No, yes, maybe? I dunno. Like what I said, I don't know what 'love' is. I don't even know how it feels. Well, Hiccup makes me happy when he is smiling, he makes me sad when he is sad and my heart just beats faster if we are close, and if we are just alone.

I don't know if this is the thing called 'Love' or anything but it feels good...

Hiccup's Point of View

I am with Astrid, we are riding our dragons. Its getting dark so I think we need to go down now.

"Hey Astrid, lets go down. Its getting dark, its not safe here." I said. Astrid smiled, that smile I wanna see...

"It is safe Hiccup..." Astrid said. She came closer and leaned to me and kissed me. Then she pulled up and chuckled. I blushed.

"Don't be scared Hiccup! I'm right here with you..." Astrid said. I just sighed and smiled and nodded. We flew until we got tired. We went down and we said goodbye to each other and we went to our houses. I layed down to my bed and slept.

~The next day~

I yawned and rubbed my eyes. I stood up and opened my window, I saw snow. Again. But its not thick. I went down and took a bath. After that, I went upstairs and got dressed. I went down with Toothless and I prepared breakfast. Dad is not here. He is probably bussy.

I started cooking. Okay, this is gonna hard Hiccup. But you can do it!

"First, pour some oil and wait till it becomes hot or whatever. Second, put the egg. Third, wait until it becomes solid. So, that's it? Cool!" I said. I am done cooking, I tasted my dish and well, its not bad. Its actually delicious. Wow O___O

I gave Toothless some fish and some water.  After eating our breakfast, as usaly, we go to the arena and train some dragons. I wish something new will come to my life...

"Goodmorning Hiccup!" Astrid said hugging me and I hugged back. She pulled up and smiled and we started to train some dragons. After that, we said goodbye to each other and I went to my house. I got bored so I rode Toothless and just flew.

I am just exploring the skies. I'm bored. I am pretty far from Berk when someone shouted.

"Hiccup!" Astrid said smiling.

"A-Astrid! What are you doing here?" I said then she chuckled.

"Race you back to Berk! You'll never beat me, bleh!" Astrid said then she turned around and flew away. I laughed and followed her. We raced back to Berk. Haha, I won, in your face Astrid!

"Nighfurry's ALWAYS wins in races Astrid. Get that on your mind! Haha!" I said. She rolled her eyes and kissed me in the cheek and said goodbye. I blushed and went home. I'm tired so I quickly fell asleep.

~The next day~

Merida's Point of View

I opened my eyes, and went down and took a bath and ate my breakfast. Today is Saturday. I'mma shoot some arrows! I went to Angus and rode him to the place where I shoot. I was shooting some arrows when someone covered the way. I stopped.

"Get out of the way, will ya? I'm tying ta practice here?" I said and he just smiled. I was creeped out because his smile is creepy.

"Hit it boys!" He said and smirked. Someone covered my mouth with a piece of cloth. I tried to escape and he laughed and laughed. He is wearing a mask. I shook my head. But its no use. First, I got dizzy and everything went black and the last thing I heard was...

"Hiccup will come here for sure! To rescue his 'friend' here. Bwahahaha!"
