"Blue!"

"Red!"

"Blue!"

"Red!"

"BLUE!"

"RED!"

"Blue, blue, blue!"

"Red, red, red!"

I sighed looking at the doctor with an apologetic smile, in return, she just shook her head at me in a manner that told me that she didn't want me to apologize. Maybe she saw a lot of these types of behaviors from kids whenever they were here to choose a cast for their broken arm. But was she familiar with these types of behaviors from her patient's friends?

Yes, you heard me right. I am getting a cast for my broken arm. Again, yes, you heard me right. Broken arm. The arm that was injured due to Sierra pushing me has really been broken and that was why I had that severe pain whenever it was moved. According to the doctor though, there was nothing to worry about as it is not very severe either. Just a bone is broken. A cast for a few months will do. Notice my sarcasm there?

It was just an hour after the school had finished and Kyra and Luke forced me into Kade's car and officially kidnapped me to the hospital to get my arm checked. Upon arriving here, I had thought about a lot of ways to run away and hide, but being my best friends for so many years, the three idiots found my plan and squeezed me into the doctor's room as one of her priority appointments.

I was not very happy right now.

After examining my arm, the doctor being the nice lady that she was told me that I had two pieces of news ready to be heard from her – one good and one bad. Me being the optimistic person that I am, wanted to know the bad news first.

"Your arm is broken," she stated with the same smile that she has been giving me since the moment I came in here for examination.

Luke tensed next to me. "What do you mean her arm is broken?!"

"Luke," I held his hand in hopes that he will calm down and turned to the doctor, "What do you mean my arm is broken?!"

The doctor grinned at my outburst as if she was expecting it. "Broken – the bone inside your arm has snapped."

"Huh?" I blinked. I already hated having to go to the hospital and yet here I was with a broken arm.

She sighed. "Fractured, splintered, cracked into bits, split, forcibly separated into two or more pieces, having the bone in your arm in fragments-"

"I know what broken arm means!" I hissed at her and now it was Luke's turn to squeeze my hand to get me to calm down.

Kyra rolled her eyes at me from my other side. "Forgive my friends for being complete morons, doc."

"Please refrain from calling me doc," Doc grimaced.

"Well then doc," Kade stressed the word, not caring about getting on her bad side as he was already on her bad side when he made a 'she is so hot for a doctor' comment when we first got here, "What is the good news that you have for her."

The doctor grinned, showing off her crooked teeth as she glanced between me and all my friends while clapping her hands cheerily, "The good news is that you can choose the color of your cast."

Well, that was the piece of the not so good news, doc. Not so good one.

That was when the two of my three best friends inside the room started to argue about what colored cast I should get on my arm. Luke being the nice person he is didn't give any option to me or even ask me what color I wanted as he yelled out, Red, while Kyra being the competitive person she is gave him a cold death glare while objecting to his choice and choosing Blue.
