May stood up staring at the confused Aiden that lay on the couch,
"What?"
"I said get out."
"Look I don't know what she said to you but it isn't what you need to hear."
"She has been there for me my whole life!"
"May please I think I love you let's explore this together."
"Explore what."
"This... us."
"There is no us."
"May ever since we were six my heart has belonged to you. And listen I don't care what Jen thinks she can't decide what's best for you when..."
"When what."
"When what might be best for you is standing right here fighting for you."
"Aiden I.."
"May I love you and I know that now and I won't let anything tear us appear again."

May's heart swelled she was in love and she truly believed that.

May nodded at him tearing up as she walked back to Jen in their bedroom.
"Jen."
"Did you tell him to leave."
"That's the thing he isn't."
"May-"
"No I think I've fallen for him again."
"You can't be serious."
"I love him and he loves me!"
"Bull shit! He doesn't love you he's just looking for somebody to fee load off of!"
"You can't say that you don't know him!"
"May as long as you are in my house under my roof there no way in hell you'll be with him. There no chance I'll allow him to live here."
"Well then-"
"Well then what?!"
"Well then maybe I'll leave to!"
May said letting her tears flow freely she charged into the walk in wardrobe and started gathering her things. She piled all her clothes in her arms but refused to even look at the ones Jen bought for her.. she didn't take them.

When reality sank in and Jen understood what was happening she started crying begging May not to go, screaming her name but May was too numb to hear her, she knew that now she had started there was no going back. With the few clothes she carried in her arms she took out the suitcase she had packed away and chucked them in pushing pat Jen who was trying so desperately to grab onto her.

May collecting all her belongings and put them in her suitcase zipping it up was the reassuring sound she needed to confirm what she was doing.

But she did it anyways picking the suitcase up she wiped her tears away that just got replaced with new ones as she was about to open the door a hot moist hand red and wet from all the tears grabbed onto her wrist.
"P-please m-May dont g-go."

Jen said letting tears fall. But all May did was pull her wrist back harshly as she reopens the door and steps outside wiping her tears away not wanting to cry in front of a stranger....
A stranger she claims to love.

She grabs Aiden by the forearm and drags him towards the door not saying anything to a stunned and confused Aiden.
"What's going on."
"We're not wanted here it's best we leave."
"Alright."

Aiden grabs mays luggage bag and carries for her as they exit the apartment. But before she fully steps out May turns towards Jen,
"I really really love you and maybe if the universe allows we can see eachother again in a new light but right now I have to say good bye."
May let's one last year fall as Jen breaks down in front of her she holds her promise ring close to her heart and cries on the floor.

As the door slams shut Jen ceases her crying and stares at her ring in which she holds desperately in her hands,
"You said you'd never leave me...
You promised."
