Ch.7 - October 12th

The night died down and everyone was either getting ready for sleep or chilling for the night.

The music was quiet and the girls were talking and gossiping while Dev was laying against me in my arms.

"Babe?"

Hero looked at Emery and they got up and left.

Devyn looks up at me and I smirked, "How do you feel?"

"Uneasy."

I grabbed her hand and she was playing with my rings.

"Wait. Can I take your gauges out?"

"I guess so. I have my red ones. You can put them in if you like."

We sat up but Devyn was covered up in my blanket.

I pulled the blanket over her shoulders and she smiles.

"You look comfortable."

"I feel comfortable."

After grabbing my gauges out of my bag, I handed them to her.

"Bend down a little. I'm short, you know."

She made me laugh and I kissed her forehead when I leaned in.

She was very delicate with my gauges, trying to take them out.

"Woah. Why do they feel like that?"

Listening to Devyn laugh and giggle made my smile grow bigger and bigger all night. Her hands touched my ears trying to change the gauges out.

"Hey, I did it."

I chuckled, "Good job, Babe."

Her cheeks turned rosy red.

Devyn started to yawn and she looked at me tired because sleep was taking over.

"Baby."

She giggled, "That sounds like music to my ears."

Her saying that made me blush and I kissed her lips.

"Like I was saying. You keep yawning."

She looked at me and I laid on my pillow. I opened my arms and she laid on my chest.

Soon, she falls asleep and I watched as she did. I grabbed her glasses and laid them on my backpack with our phones.

I wake up to the sound of Devyn talking in her sleep.

I raised up and Devyn was sweating.

"Dev?"

I tried to shake her awake and she wakes up everyone around us.

"Baby?"

"What?"

She raised up a bit looking around and sits up.
