22 weeks...

(Devyn)

I pushed my glasses up the bridge of my nose looking through my notes. I had two journals, flipping through the pages.

Xander on the other hand, he was lost for words freaking out whether or not he could graduate.

He was worried.

"How about this...I can make flash cards. I have my old ones from earlier. We can go through them."

He laid his head down on the island and groaned, "I'm going to fail. I'm not going to graduate."

"Yes you will, Xander. I know it. You're a math genius, your good at science too."

"Okay, two out of like seven, Babe. If I fail this, who knows if I can graduate."

"That's why I'm studying with you. So you can pass."

He looked at me and grabbed the notebook, "What's all required on the final anyway?"

"All subjects. Pretty much everything we've learned in each class this semester."

He groaned again realizing he missed a huge gap of this last semester due to Ethan alienating his brain.

We heard my mom walking in the house and she walked in the kitchen where we were, "What's going on in here?"

"Studying."

Xander exhaled feeling....looking defeated.

"Xander, you alright? You look like you want to give up."

"Because I do. I missed a lot. I got my grades up but not enough. If I fail the final, bye bye graduation and my girlfriend and our friends move on without me."

She frown feeling bad for him, "Sorry you feel that way, hun. What about Devyn's flash cards?"

"Already tried."

Xander grabbed my notebook again flipping through the pages.

"We've been studying all week. We have exactly one day, that's tomorrow, to take the final. All day long."

"I can quiz you on each subject. Just not math."

Zed walked downstairs and Jenna was behind him,
"I can test you on math. I'm pretty much Albert Einstein."

My eyebrows furrowed at his response and Xanders eyes grew wide, awkwardly.

"I suppose you can. Just don't be ashamed if I out-beat you."

I smiled, "At least you have some confidence."

For the next two hours, that's what we did. Zed, Jenna and I created mini tests, searching online for study materials to get Xander ready.

He's going to pass this.

(Xander)

You are a sore loser....

You'll never pass, what a failure....

Good luck passing on to the next grade....you're not graduating this year....

Voice in my head overcrowded my mind...can't sleep.

Devyn appeared and frowned, "Our baby will see how much of a failure his father is....what a shame..."

My eyes widened, "Wait, what..."

No...stop...

"Xander...Xander, wake up!"
