(Devyn)
It's been two weeks since I broke up with Xander.

I had his stuff with me to give back to him but he's been avoiding me and I don't blame him.

"Are you alright?"

"I overreacted. I pushed him away, Em."

She hugged me tightly and I started to cry again and again.

"I can't go on without him. He's my everything."

"How does he make you feel? Remember that."

I glanced over and he was sitting at a separate table with Hero and Jax.

"I'm coming over after school. Okay?"

"Fine with me. Something to get my mind off of him."

Her smile was kind and I couldn't find myself doing the same.

"You love him. That's why."

Emery laid her head on my shoulder and I laid mine against hers.

The bell rang while we stood at our lockers and everyone started to rush to get to their last class of the day. Only I took my sweet time because I didn't want to face Xander.

Emery and I followed the rest of the kids out and started heading down the hall to our last class.

She didn't even have this class.

"You're strong. Okay? Try to talk to him. You deserve each other. When I get my hands on this bitch that touched him...."

"Em, I get it."

She tucked my hair in behind my ears and wiped my cheeks.

"You know what to do. Come find me and we will talk this out. I promise you will make it through this."

She glanced over and we saw Xander in the hallway talking to his friends, "I don't see you two without each other, D."

I sighed.

"He loves you too much to let you go like that."

The bell rings one last time and we were in front of our classrooms.

"I love you."

"I love you, Em."

She giggled and we went out separate ways.

....

"Mr.Ramirez?"

"Yes, sir?"

"In your assigned seats, please."

He looked over at me exhaling and got up from the chair making his way over towards me.

He set his books down and takes the chair beside me but I ignored his presence.

"Okay, for this assignment. You will need your partner sitting next to you."

The teacher began explaining our class assignment and I rolled my eyes.

"You may begin when I have handed you your paper."

I was nervous because math isn't my strongest class but it is his.

He worked on the first part of the assignment but I stared at my paper.

I didn't have the first clue.

"You could talk to me. Maybe I'll be able to help."

"Xander...I..."

He waited for a response but I felt so stupid for the break up. Who am I kidding, I love him more than life itself.
