(Devyn)

"We are going to discharge you today. Everything looks good and you've improved a lot."

I smiled and Dr.McCoy hugged me.

"Let me get you started on those and we'll send you on your way."

She leaves and my brother walked in climbing into my bed.

"Where is Xander?"

"Loading the car. What brings you in?"

"To see how my sister was doing. Duh. Plus I call dibs to babysit anytime you need. I want first pick, I'm going to the best uncle to Eli. Mark...my....words."

I giggled and he laid his head on my shoulder, "Speaking of the little man. Where is he?"

"In his crib. Xander is coming back up to put him in his car seat."

He got up and washed his hands before touching him.

Zed walked over to the crib and picked him up in his arms cuddling him.

"Oh my god. He's amazing, Sis."

Xander walked in eyeing Zed and then smiled when he saw me.

"What's he doing with our baby?"

"He wanted to see him. That's all."

I chuckled a bit and he sits beside me on the bed kissing my shoulder.

"Ready to change?"

"Yea. Zed, put Eli down so I can change."

He exhaled, "Fine."

He carefully laid Eli in his bed, making sure he's safe and comfortable. I adore that of my brother.

"See you two in a bit."

Zed leaves and Xander had some clothes for me. He had a pair of black comfortable shorts and his hoodie.

"I figured you wanted this."

"These shorts?"

"Oh...my bad. Here."

He hands me his silk boxer shorts and I grabbed his shoulders so I could get dressed.

He slides the boxer shorts up my bare legs and I turned around so he could untie the gown.

"How's that?"

"Much better."

Xander took the gown off of me and pulled the hoodie down over my head, helping me put my arms through the right holes.

"You look comfortable."

"I feel comfortable. Sore but comfortable."

We kissed lightly and the nurse came in with a wheel chair.

"Be careful, okay?"

"Okay."

Xander held me up so I could transfer to the chair. He grabbed Eli and secured him into the car seat.

"Let's get home."

....

(Xander)

We make it to the car and I helped Devyn after buckling Eli's car seat in the backseat securely.

"Alright. Now."

I felt pretty good getting his car seat in there no problem.

"We can now head home."

I closed the door and I headed to my side sitting in the driver seat.

....

I parked in our spot in the parking garage and I helped Devyn. I grabbed Eli out handing him over to Devyn as she cradled him.
