(Devyn)
"Is it just me or is Devyn and Xander finally made up?"

"I don't know. They're kissing a lot."

Jax adds, "Holding hands."

"They're dating."

"She knows why Xander was being a pain in the ass."

I looked at all three of them, "We can hear you, ya know."

We were holding hands and Xander kissed my head.

Xander spoke up, "My sobriety is a quiet subject. Please."

"Sorry."

The bell rang and we headed to the cafeteria.

We walked down the main hall and I linked my arm with Xander's. Then he laid his arm around my shoulders pulling me in for a kiss.

"What are you getting?"

"Hoping they have chef salad."

We walked in the lunchroom and followed Emery and Hero to the line with Jax behind us.

"You four are lame. I'm the single one fifth wheeling whatever relationship this is."

"You can be the side bae."

Emery giggled.

"Side bae? I like it," I laughed.

Xander shook his head and Hero grabbed Jax trying to kiss him.

"You guys always know how to win my heart."

We grabbed our lunch and sat our normal table.

"In all honesty, Jax. Do you have you eyes on anyone in our class?"

"I mean don't get me wrong. They're are some hot babes in this room. Jade, gorgeous. Reminds me of Devyn a little bit but your mean. Less angst."

I rolled me eyes, "Wow, thanks."

"She has gauges, purple hair, rings, two nose rings, earrings. The black eyeliner. You just have earrings and a nose ring."

"Hey, I've had more. Ask Em."

Emery nods, "You did have a tongue piercing. The nose ring, your eyebrow."

Xander flicked him in the back of his head.

"Ow."

"Continue."

"No. You flicked me in the back of the head, asshole."

"Don't talk to Devyn that way."

He shook his head and his eyes followed the blonde girl.

Her caramel skin glows and her blonde hair was dark with curls.

"She's pretty."

"Hannah. She's gorgeous."

She saw Jax and blushed and I giggled, "You have to get her number."

"No way."

"Jax. Yes. Get her number."

Jax was chickened out.

"I rather do it on my own."

"Okay. No rush."

We sat around the table and talked for the rest of the time.

....

"Do you want to go to the skate park after school?"

We were standing by his locker, alone in the crowded hallway.
