Amazed. Astonished. Astounded. No amount of words could describe what Uraraka was feeling. She ran around the square, brown eyes racing through the crowd, looking at everything she could. Some people looked at her strangely, but most stayed clear. The group had all split up a while ago, so only Kirishima was following her. The large square was like a maze. Uraraka twisted and turned through the isles, losing herself in the square, but she continued on the path she made for herself. It was almost impossible to keep track of the witch, but Kirishima managed... somehow.
Uraraka ran up to a small tent selling clothing. A few others were standing around, browsing the different outfits and jewelry. Uraraka reached out and touched the fabrics and silks of the outfits, giggling at the textures she's never felt before. The dresses, robes, shirts, pants: every garment they contained was different from the last. Beauty was successfully captured in each piece. Uraraka looked all around the tent, where some other shoppers were calmly strolling. Glee filled her being. This whole place was so new, so fresh, so exotic and exciting! She could barely contain her emotions.
"Find something you like?" someone asked.
Uraraka flinched and jumped at the voice. The woman running the stand was behind her, a hand on her hip and a smile on her lips.
Uraraka backed away, grabbing onto the first person she knew. Kirishima flinched, but he didn't move. "I don't know how to talk to people!"
Kirishima laughed. He took the words for her. "She's just browsing, but thank you anyway."
The woman nodded. "Of course. If you find something you like, feel free to let me know." She walked away to help another customer.
Uraraka fell back on the dragon shifter, gasping from the shock. "Oh gods... people are talking to me...! You have to help me!"
Kirishima shrugged, confused at her reaction. "It's not that hard. You just relax and go with your instinct, and the rest is up to fate. It's a little weird though. Back in the forest, you were so excited to see new people, but now you're so nervous. What happened?"
Uraraka shivered. "I don't know... I guess I just didn't expect this many people to be in one place..."
"Really?" Kirishima asked. "This isn't as many people as the castle town in Draconia. Then again, most of our land goes to our dragons, so the people are kinda squished together..."
Uraraka groaned. "O-Ok... I'm going to try to get used to this..." She looked ahead to the crowded district. People roamed around every corner, living their lives in this normal chaos. It would take her a while to become comfortable, but she had no choice. Besides, the thought of society excited her. Looking back to Kirishima, she stepped forward and continued to explore the area in front of her.
But from across the village, the swordsman lacked the luck of his friends.
Midoriya stared at the quest-board, browsing through the different favors people needed. Others were all around him, observing the papers carefully. There were quite a few available. The only problem is that none of them were possible for someone who was going to stay here for a day and leave the next. These quests would take too much time.
