Uraraka dug through her bag, looking through every small pocket inside it. There had to be something edible somewhere, but all she was able to find were books, potions, toiletries, and empty containers meant for food. Hope had dwindled from her in seconds, leaving her in despair.

She groaned, tossing her bag back onto the ground. "No luck from me. What about you guys?"

"Nothing over here," Kaminari sighed. "Just bullets, containers, more bullets, extra clothes, even more bullets... wow, I need to organize my stuff."

"No food from me," Bakugou muttered. "Same with Deku."

"Are you serious?" Todoroki spoke in disbelief. "We don't have any food, not to mention Snow is running low on oats."

"We'll reach the seaport town tomorrow evening, but until then, we're out of luck," Midoriya claimed. "So, what should we do?"

Bakugou stood up and began to walk out of the small cave. "Scavenge for more, obviously. It's the only thing we can do. So get up. We have to leave now."

Uraraka stood. "Man, I wish there was a fairy around that could lead us to Sana fruits. But I don't see a single one around here."

"Good," Bakugou stated.

"But-"

"Good."

The sun hasn't been up for long, so the forest was still cool and fresh. The grass was wet with droplets left behind by the morning dew. The path was muddy from yesterday's rainstorm. A spider's web dangled down from a nearby tree, the small drops of water creating natural art on the threads. Though they had been on this journey for nearly a month now, Midoriya was still captivated by the natural beauty around him. It still felt like he was exploring something new and unique every day. The sense of adventuring made him swell up in joy, and he felt as if this entire journey was charmed by magic. And, in a strange sense, it was.

Everyone looked around for food, their growling stomachs keeping them on the right track; yet, they couldn't find anything that made a meal. They found some tree nuts and small berries, but that wasn't going to fill them.

Suddenly, they stepped out to a lake. It wasn't very wide, and it was only about two feet deep, yet the group stopped at it. The light blue water reflected the light from the sun, creating a clear pattern in the liquid. Small pebbles were laying on the ground of the stream as a floor.

Everyone rushed over to the lake, refilling their canisters of water. Todoroki led Snow over so she could drink. "Well, we found water. That's a start."

Midoriya brought his canteen of water back up, and that was when he noticed an opportunity. "Guys, stay still."

Everyone in the group froze up as Midoriya withdrew his sword. He kept his eyes locked on something that was in the water. He slid the blade between his thumb and pointer finger, keeping a close eye on his prey.
