The sun rose over the steady forests, warming the earth beneath it. The grass was covered in tiny dewdrops from the morning fog. Insects crept around trees and through the plants on the ground.

When Iida woke up, no one else in his group had stirred.

The knight rose up from his position on the ground and brushed off the extra dirt from his loose clothes. His armor lay elsewhere, along with several of the others. The campfire had died down under the cool night, and now, in the crisp morning, it remained as nothing but a pile of ashes over wood.

Iida sat up from his position and dug in his bag, looking for his map. When he retrieved it, he rolled it out and scanned over the drawing of Emberium on it.

They had just left Fair Isles Village yesterday. Iida didn't expect anyone to see the prince, but he was surprised. Apparently, a man obscured in a white cloak was traveling with his horse, which had fur as white as snow. Not only that, but he was traveling with a green haired swordsman, a blonde barbarian, a redhead rouge, a blonde gunman, and a brunette witch.

Iida didn't know what to think. First, Prince Todoroki was here, and he was close. Second, he was traveling with people. But why? Who were they? Did they know the truth about Todoroki?

And how did Todoroki know he could trust them? Especially a random group like them? Questions raced through the knight's mind until he could think of nothing more...

He had to find the prince. And soon.

It was probably best for Iida to search alone. After all, he had promised to go with the prince if he was found. And since he was still fairly close to Fair Isles Village, there might be a chance that he's near...

"Ah, Iida, you're an early bird too, I see?"

The knight flinched.

Well, his plan was foiled... or whatever idea he had.

Iida whirled his head around to see Aoyama sitting up in his spot, stretching his arms to the sky. He even looked graceful while waking up. How did he manage to do it?

Iida nodded, looking down at his map. "Yes. I'm just thinking about the possibility of Prince Todoroki being nearby..."

"Well, apparently he was spotted on that seaport," Aoyama scowled. "Ugh... I swear on the gods, will the smell of fish ever leave my hair?"

"You know, it's quite ironic. You were so excited to go there."

Aoyama scoffed, "Well, until I learned that their main imports were just a bunch of flopping fish! The entire town were just docks and seagulls and... seagulls on docks! Seagulls pooping on the docks! It's revolting!"

Iida sighed, putting his map away in his bag. "Well, we got what we needed. But even so, I'm not sure if that was really Prince Todoroki..."

"What makes you say that?"
