The words alone conjured silence in the empty colony. The Lady looked as confident as ever, along with Midnight, but everyone in the group turned and studied each other's faces. They were all surprised, but none of their expressions could compare to Bakugou's. He was still clinging onto Midoriya's shoulders, but his eyes were widened with surprise.

That was certainly not what he thought she would say.

How was he supposed to react to that? So what if he was the prince? He couldn't just make a decision like that, especially not without his parents.

"You what?" Bakugou shouted, smearing The Lady's confident smirk off her lips. "What makes you think I can handle an alliance right now? Of all the times?"

"Well, I suppose what we want is too informal to call an alliance. After all, you're not really taking the role of the prince right now. Who's watching over Draconia while you're on your daring adventure?" The Lady asked.

Her words insulted Bakugou. "I left it in the hands of the kingdom's scholars. And don't you dare say I'm not taking the role of a prince. I left the comfort of my home to cure it, for the gods' sake."

"I will admit, I'm surprised you didn't focus on gathering your army to take down the sorcerer," Midnight stated. "I thought war was your thing."

"It's not. My kingdom comes first. Revenge will wait."

Midnight smirked, her eyes widening. That pleasant surprise delighted her. "Hmm, so you can have the morals of a true king... and here I thought you were just a spoiled brat like the rumors said."

"Spoiled brat?!"

Midnight changed the subject. "And who are the humans with you? Never would have expected you to grab some additional teammates. You seem particularly attached to that swordsman..."

Bakugou tried to let go of Midoriya's shoulders, but they immediately started shaking. He clung onto Midoriya's sleeves again. He hated how he had to do that just to feel safe around a fairy... But Midoriya didn't seem to mind. He leaned back into the touch, as if he was saying, 'It's ok. I'll protect you.'

"O-Oh, well... I'm Izuku Midoriya. I'm just here to, you know, help out..."

Midnight grinned, but it certainly didn't hold the innocence of her fairy counterpart. Midoriya wasn't sure what to think about that...

"Well, who are the rest of you?" Midnight asked. "I'm surprised to see that Bakugou even allowed others to come." She pointed to the witch wearing pink. "Let's start with you."

"M-Me? Oh, well, my name's Ochaco Uraraka. I'm-"

"Wait, hold on, I've heard that name before. Uraraka..." The Lady interrupted, holding her hand out to stop her. She then tapped her finger to her chin while thinking. Suddenly, she shouted out, "The Uraraka family! That's where I've heard that name! They're the family of witches that live waaaaay over there, right?"
