A few days had passed since the group's departure from Ostus. In that short time, there was a change so drastic it seemed impossible, but when they opened their eyes and looked ahead of them, they knew it was real. Emberium had grown used to the sight of the draconics. Whenever the dragons landed by a city and a group of adventurers wandered in, the people would all be gathered around in awe and mystery. Each reaction was different. Some were afraid, trembling in their boots like cowardly pigs, though their fear was understood. Others were amazed. They waved frantically to the group, calling out to the "heroes that saved Ostus" in admiration.

It was strange not to be feared by them, but the group didn't mind one bit.

They didn't stop in villages, towns, and cities too many times - only when they were out of supplies or when Kirishima and Kaminari desired rest. Surprisingly enough, Bakugo seemed to understand when his friends needed a break. He could tell just by observing specific points on their bodies, such as the joints between their wings or their wide, sleepy eyes. He would then harshly kick Kirishima's back and lead him down to land. As soon as they set foot on ground, the two transformed back into their human forms and wearily collapsed.

Bakugo didn't admit it, but he cared about the two idiots. He wouldn't let anything happen to them.

Right now, they were parked right in front of a wooded forest, setting up camp for the night. The sun was only now setting, but the group didn't hesitate to gather a bundle of sticks and set up a fire. They had noticed the sudden change in weather. With each passing night, the ground grew colder, losing the warmth of a dying summer. Autumn was here.

It wasn't long until a group of dried branches, slabs of wood, and dead weeds were bundled up in a circle of rocks. Midoriya pulled out some flint and struck it with his dagger, emitting a gorgeous flame from the withered plants. He then wandered back over to the trees and sat down under one. His whole body was stiff from the continuous days of flight.

That was the bad thing about flying - it withered the physical aspect of the journey. Part of Midoriya missed walking. He missed coming across a fantastic sight he didn't expect and gawking over it with his friends. He missed the breaks by a pond or river that filled him with a sense of refreshment and stability. He missed being able to talk to everyone in the group.

But flying had a whole new aspect of adventuring to it.

Midoriya glanced over to the two draconics, who were huddled up by a tree closely together. They had talked nonstop since they landed, but now, the essence of exhaustion was coming to claim them. Their words grew soft and their eyes dimmed in fatigue. Kaminari was resting his head on Kirishima's shoulder, his palm lightly situated on the back of Kirishima's hand. It wouldn't be long before soft snoring emerged from the two.

The swordsman decided to stop staring at them and let them rest together. There were many things he could still be doing: explore the forest behind them for small animals to hunt, wander through the grassy hills in front of him for berries or small fruits... Really, everything he could do revolved around food, but the group already had plenty of it.
