The two didn't talk to each other all day.

Uraraka noticed their awkward tension immediately. Usually, Bakugou and Midoriya would just be walking next to each other with either of them leading a lively conversation among the group. But now they were at opposite ends of the group with their heads down, their attention turned away from each other.

Uraraka groaned. Seriously? She didn't join this journey for romance drama.

Kirishima and Kaminari were oblivious to the tension. They were laughing and chatting among themselves about various things (all which Uraraka found stupid.) Well, maybe they weren't oblivious. Kirishima continued to invite Bakugou in the conversation, even wrapping his arm around Bakugou in a friendly manner, but the other just growled and shoved him off. Kaminari continued to call out to the swordsman when he spoke, saying things like, "Right Midoriya?" but the swordsman barely responded. If he did, it was only with a short nod or a small hum, and he went back into silence.

Uraraka bit the inside of her cheek. If this kept up, bad things could happen. The witch just might yell out to them, screaming how they need to get over their drama, make out, and get it over with. They kissed, so what? It's not that big of a deal.

But Uraraka had never kissed anyone, nor had the embarrassment that followed, so she didn't know what they were feeling.

"You know," Todoroki muttered to her, "If those two don't figure out their relationship status, it could create some real problems."

Uraraka groaned, "Well, obviously. They're going to go insane..."

"I mean problems on the battlefield."

Uraraka tilted her head as the prince continued, "Remember when we went out to rent a boat and were declined the offer? The saleswoman said that a crew couldn't be a crew if they can't communicate properly. Imagine what would happen if we run into trouble and they didn't communicate because they were too stubborn or shy to do so?"

Uraraka suddenly understood, instantly knowing how chaos could erupt. It was a similar situation to when they were on the boat. They all had to work together to stop the sirens from climbing up and to stop Midoriya from jumping in.

"If those two don't communicate, we'll never be able to use our full strength."

Todoroki nodded, his eyes focused on the ground and his hand clenched around Snow's reigns. "For their sake... for all of ours, I need them to make up." The witch nodded in agreement.

They didn't. For the rest of the day, the group was silenced by the tension between the swordsman and the Draconic prince. Uraraka noticed how they had changed along the way.

They were both too stubborn for their own good.

When Uraraka fell asleep that night, wrapped up in her dress and warmed by the smoky campfire, she hoped that they would make some real progress the next day.
