"It's been two months Hal, baka naman.." I joked, casually eating my ordered food.

A smirk was plastered on his lips as he faced me.

"Getting impatient, I see." He commented.

"Not really, It's just that..." I paused, thinking of what to say. "I think we're taking our time too much. I just thought this might get out of hand."

I'm worried to be honest. Recently, napapansin ko na he's spacing out a lot when he is with me. Tuwing nag-uusap kami madalas niyang mabanggit si Eury. Kung anong favorite niya, the place where they date, even the most unsignificant matter basta related kay Eury ay nai-insert niya sa usapan namin.

He's not over her yet, obviously.

I know that, kaya nga I'm doing my best to help him recover. Pero paano naman ako? It's like I am gambling with my feelings knowing that I am nowhere near winning.

Hindi naman sa nagrereklamo ako. I am just trying to play safe, this is too much to risk.

"This will work out eventually, trust me." Aniya sa isang seryosong tinig. His eyes locked on mine, flickering with confidence.

I just heaved a sigh, I have no say in this.  This is all my fault, ako ang nangahas. It's not like ginusto niya na ligawan ko siya, I was the one who plotted this ridiculous act, kaya kailangan kong panindigan. It's his choice if he'll dump me or not. I just need to trust, maybe after all this, may feelings na mabuhay sa kaniyang puso.

We finished our meal and asked for the bill, agad siyang naglabas ng pera at inilapag sa table.

"I'm the one paying." I hissed at him.

"I'm the guy, so I'll be paying." He equalled my gaze with his cold black orbs.

"Nililigawan kita, diba? So I should pay." I said matter-of-factly. The waiter looked at us incredulously, as if we grew another head.

"I'll pay." He said with finality, I pouted, it's pointless to argue with him.

Lumabas na kami ng restaurant, a grumpy look on my face. I never won an argument with him.

"Hey, Grumpy!" He called out, catching up to me.

Inis ko siyang binalingan, "Anong sabi mo?"

"Grumpy?" Mapanuya niyang pahayag, getting a hold of my chin, lifting it up to meet my gaze. Nalusaw agad ang inis ko dahil sa ginawa niya. Ang rupok naman ha?!

Pinanatili ko ang pagkakunot ng aking noo nang sa gayon hindi niya mapansin ang karupukan ko. His lips formed a smirk na nawala rin kaagad nang umaangat ang tingin niya sa likuran ko.

"Shit." Marahang mura niya, closing his eyes shut. Agaran akong lumingon para makita ang dahilan ng kaniyang pagmumura. It's the first time I heard him curse so it must be really serious.

I turned around to see..

Eury. And she's coming our way. Nakita niya kaya si Hal kaya siya pupunta dito? Baka narealize niya na mahal niya pa si Hal kaya makikipagbalikan siya? Paano na ako? Huwaaahhh! nooooo!
