The thing about mental health

I've noticed this in a lot of my close friends. Something our parents never really told us about.

The sudden need to isolate ourselves from the world for a few days, maybe even a week. To just stay in our bed, not interact with anyone.

It's almost like we feel this intense tiredness and emptiness inside us after all the socializing and time spent outside the house, that if we didn't get away from it all, we'll go insane.

Not everyone experiences it, that I also observed. But the people that do, they have it hard. They have it hard because others wouldn't understand.

They wouldn't understand the way we feel this heaviness on our chests, or the way we can hear our blood rushing in our ears as everyone around us is talking, laughing, and being way too loud.

It all hits you at once, and we all need a break from life every now and then.

Because sometimes this world is just too much, and that could be hard to understand I guess.
