Some things are better left unsaid. Some things should be kept raging in our heads and screaming in our hearts.
Everyone has a dark side, no matter how dandy and rainbow-y a person seems, they have to have those dark thoughts running in one of the corners in their heads.
It's okay. It's okay to think about them, those unsettling ideas that you're wondering how your mind even dared to think about.
You feel terrified at two in the morning when you can't sleep and the blank white ceiling doesn't exactly look blank, it looks like the dark thoughts jumped out of your head and are now dancing around mocking you.
I understand that as you're falling asleep and your dreams consist of people and actions and so much chaos and you feel yourself drown into the pit of the darkness and you're trying hard to breathe but it's okay, it really is.
You'll wake up. You'll get out of bed. You'll wash your face with crisp cold water. You'll go about your day and leave your thoughts in bed to fend for themselves.
Because that's all they are, they're thoughts that you can choose to bury deep and never speak of them again.
Everybody has a dark side, we have so many options what to do with it, how to handle it, how to make peace with it.
It's just that we have to choose wisely.
