The thing about needing someone

I've realized a lot this year, just like every year really.

This year though, so many faces have been unraveled, some faces were disappointing, some were scary, but only few were exactly the same.

By few I mean one.

And that's when you realize how being out in this world, surrounded by so many people is actually both scary and lonely at the same time.

So this one person that you realize is real, has the best intentions, and will be with you whatever happens, you never let them go, no matter what, because you need them.

Needing someone is a form of vulnerability, when it's with the right person, is actually so beautiful.

Someone that's there for you and you for them, you need them because they keep you sane, they keep you grounded, without them you get lost.

And being lost is not a pleasant feeling.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that having a person to confide in, to trust blindly, and know that no matter what they won't disappoint, is such an important thing to have in life.

Because they're your person, your ride or die as cheesy as it sounds, it's insanely true.

Needing someone to stay through thick and thin, and them staying, is the reason we'll ever be able to keep going.
