Helplessness is a type of vulnerability, the worst type of vulnerability actually.
The thing is, that when, for example, you're put in a situation that's hurting you, but you can't get out of it, mainly because there's no way out,
So you feel helpless.
However, what really makes us feel helpless is our feelings, it's always about feelings anyway.
I'll give a very typical feeling, which is love.
You love someone, even though you shouldn't, even though it's wrong, but you can't not love them.
Almost like that love is chaining you to a chair, and that chair is bolted to the floor, and you're sitting there,
Helpless.
It's a weak feeling, it may be our lowest point in life, but sometimes things go up from there, and other times, you continue to feel helpless for such a long time, until it's suffocating.
We can't really control our feelings, can we?
So when we feel this anger towards someone, someone that took everything from us, we can't hurt them back. We can't make them feel the way they did us,
All we can do is stand there and watch as they walk away, leaving your life a mess. A helpless chaotic mess.
I never really liked that feeling, helplessness, it makes me think things that I shouldn't, and say things that should be kept inside.
It makes me feel the worst version of myself I could ever be.
