ooooh snap!
I know I know, third part about love, but I just can't help it.
It seems love is such a vast topic to talk about, like I could write countless of books about it and I still wouldn't be done.
I've been thinking about how love is something we put on a tight leash in our lives. It is something that seems so precious, that when it starts slipping away we hold on even tighter.
And sometimes that hurts us.
So sometimes when we have this rope around love's neck, keeping it with us in the room, it starts trying to escape, because love feels like it doesn't belong in that room anymore, and yet we hold it back.
Thus it starts suffocating, it start breathing harder, and after a while it becomes toxic.
I guess the reason behind that is that we're afraid of letting love go, because love makes us feel safe.
It makes us warm.
happy.
anxious, in a sort of good way.
giddy.
All these feeling that make you feel so good, and when there's a chance that it's going to be taken away, we get so so so scared.
We feel our hearts drop and our eyes well up with tears tears tears, so many tears.
Sometimes when love escapes we feel the need to just stay alone, so much that lonely feels tempted and gets wrapped up in us that at some point it becomes us.
Love is something unique and real and raw, that letting it go is a nightmare coming alive.
Love will forever be our home, when with the right person, and that is why love is beautiful.
beautiful.
beautiful.
so beautiful.
