The thing about us

I'm not really sure on how to begin on such a topic.

I guess that's exactly where I could begin, with the fact that we're confusing creatures. I hate that about us. I hate it because when I'm confused about someone it feels like I'm blind and I can't see clearly and that's an awful feeling to feel.

We go into this life with no idea what we want to do, how we want to live our life, but most importantly is that we meet people and we don't know what to do with them.

I should explain a bit more.

We meet a new person, and they're genuine and cool and funny and all you would ever want in a person, but then what? They either become a friend or a spouse or whatever but it's confusing because we don't know what the other person feels or thinks.

Do they want us to talk to them? Are they feeling the same we're feeling?

I can't understand us. We're never clear about our intentions, our feelings, our thoughts.

But I guess in some way I can understand that we're scared.

We're always scared.

We're afraid of being honest because then it might slap us. It might bring us pain, heartbreak, loss. So it's easier to take in the confusion or being vague over much more scary feelings that we tend to avoid at all costs.

We're all just scared beings, until we find someone that understands our fears, and safely takes them away.
