The thing about siblings

I'm grateful for my brothers and sister. I really am. I know some people who are an only child, and yeah they say sometimes it's great, but sometimes it gets a little grim in the house.

So yeah, I am grateful for my siblings.

I get to joke around with someone in the house whenever wherever, I get to share so many childhood memories, I get to share my thoughts at midnight with someone.

I have three brothers and a sister.

I get to be a sister to two, and a mother-like figure to two. Sometimes it's tiring, sometimes it's draining, but most of the times it makes me feel connected, alive, and perhaps even less alone.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that having siblings is the kind of blessing you don't really realize that you have when you're young and all you do is fight and argue.

I realized about four years ago that my two older brothers are everything to me. They're my companions for as long as we're living together, and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

It seems that appreciating siblings is way too underrated.
