So me and my friend were having this conversation about growing, and how when you keep surrounding yourself with diverse people that have different personalities, that helps you immensely grow.
I think perhaps it's because learning from them is more eye opening than you would've thought.
You could learn happiness or sadness, pain or pleasure, so many lessons that I guess at some point you start maturing and going higher.
So now, years later, people call you mature or an old soul and you don't really comprehend it, however you do feel it.
When you grow, you start being picky about the people you surround yourself with, from their maturity level to even their humor.
You learn how to avoid heartbreak and pain and abandonment, and you start attracting loyalty, through thick and thin.
And that's the best feeling ever, because when the people around you are mature and at the same level of your thinking, you feel like you're in a good place.
A happy place.
