It's confusing and terrifying all at once. Being lost I mean.
Sometimes it's difficult to breathe, and you need to take a second and sit down, as you stare at the wall trying to figure out why you feel so distraught.
I guess lost is a rare feeling, people don't often talk about it.
If I were to describe it, it would feel like being in the middle of a deserted area, and you have the option of taking about ten pathways out,
And the feeling of being lost dawns on you.
I guess that's what life is about, getting lost and finding ourselves through everything.
So being lost about who you want to be, about the type of life you want to have, about who you want to have next to you through all the storms that are coming towards you,
It's quite an overwhelming feeling, and at times it's blinding.
The pressure of wanting to find yourself, and figure out where you are in life and where do you want to go on from there, sometimes makes us reckless.
It makes us let go for just a little while and do whatever is on top of our head without thinking twice about it, only to end up a tad bit more lost after that spontaneous endeavor,
But it's okay.
It's okay because I can see my grandparents, and they've been through it all, and they're happy, they made some bad decisions and some good ones, but in the end the found themselves.
And there's a warm comfort in that.
