The unknown is always scary, and that's a fact.
At a young age, such as seventeen for example, the future holds so much for you. College, work, marriage, and a lot more that you haven't gone through yet. I guess that's the nerve-wracking part. Not knowing if you will study that certain major, or find a job, or who will be your significant other that you'll spend every second with.
The future, in my eyes, is a series of bombs. Every bomb represents a specific major event that is going to take place in your life. But the thing about these bombs is that some of them are going to cause you pain and others are going to be blissful, and every time you make a decision, you're taking a risk.
A risk of whether it'll be a lesson for you, or a path-turner towards the better.
