One week from now, I'm done with highschool. So are my friends who are practically family, and we're taking one step towards our future.
It's funny that three years ago if you've asked me if I'll miss school when I graduate my answer hands down would be 'Hell No!"
But now, as I'm only days away from walking away with my back facing the school and my face looking upon the college I'll be entering, studying what I love and hope to find myself in the process,
Yeah I can't deny that I feel that twinge in my chest because of the thought that I won't be sitting in the same class as my bestfriend again, or share moments that you won't find anywhere else.
I didn't intend for this to be cheesy, but I guess here we are with my emotions all over the place.
Acadamic wise highschool was hell, but the other parts that you later on realize are going to be gone forever, yeah man that's gonna be a slap later on.
I'm excited though.
I'm excited for us, me and my friends, we're graduating soon and I can't wait to see what we'll be doing with ourselves later on.
Regardless of the fact that we'll be a mess, but eventually we all have dreams that move way past highschool, and I guess that's where things get heart-shaking, that we're one step closer to conquering our dreams.
