“Wow. Lacy are you ok?” Jezzy asked after Carolyn and I walked out of “school”.
“I-I don’t know what I’m going to do guys,” I said then felt myself start to break down again.
“I don’t know what to tell you,” Carolyn told me.
“I just want to go home. I want Luke. I want to be happy. Is that too much to ask? To be happy?”
“Do you want me to call him?”
“No! He’s got more important things to worry about”
“Lacy,” Francesca said. “This is very important. This will be important to him too”
“This won’t be important to him. He has fans to please and stuff to do. He doesn’t need to worry about me,” I said, twisting the ring.
“Lacy this is probably one of the biggest things that has happened to the group. He will care about this,” Jezzy told me.
“But it seems to be that everything bad is happening to me. He’s probably sick of having to do shit for his fucked up girlfriend”
“He loves you”
“Then why hasn’t he returned my texts?” I asked loudly.
“What?”
“I’ve texted him. Called him. Skyped him but he doesn’t answer. Jez, I don’t know what to do”
“You want me to go mad at him? Or Ash?”
I shook my head, “it’s fine”
“Lacy. You need to tell him”
“It’s ok. I’m ok,” I said taking a deep breath and wiping under my eyes.
“Lace…”
“It’s fine. I don’t want to talk about it anymore. What are we going to do to waste away the rest of the day?”
“We could hang out at mine?” Carolyn suggested.
“Sounds good,” I smiled.
“We could watch chick flicks and eat ice-cream,” Francesca suggested.
“I like you,” I smiled, pointing to her and she smiled.
“You also speak English pretty well,” Carolyn added.
“I started leaning English when I was thirteen,” she told us.
“And how old are you?” I asked.
“Nineteen,” she smiled.
“Interesting. I swear, Michael is going to love you,” I saw her blush and that made me feel better.
“Are we going or what?” Jezzy asked.
“Fine-fine,” Carolyn smiled.

“Nice to finally meet you girls,” Carolyn’s mum Miranda smiled.
“You too,” I told her.
“Do we still have ice-cream?” Carolyn asked.
“Yes. Why?” her mum inquired.
“Lacy’s in serious need of girl time”
“Well help yourselves to the ice cream and toppings,” she said.
“You’re the best,” I told her mum and we rushed into her kitchen.
“I try,” she said making us giggle.
We ended up with four tubs of ice cream, two bottles of Mountain Dew, chocolate topping and chocolate chip cookies before Carolyn collected a stack of girly movies.
“Which one first?” she asked, showing us the stack.
“Clueless!” I shouted causing the girls to laugh.
“Clueless it is”
“Mean Girls next,” Jezzy demanded.
“Luke and I watch that all the time,” I laughed.
“It’s his fav movie isn’t it?”
“Sure is. I swear he watches it as much as possible”
“Well it is like…the female bible,” Carolyn said, making us all burst out laughing.
“Clueless too. When you have a guy over, always make sure you have something baking,” Francesca recited.
“Ok. Us four are officially a group. You two are not allowed to leave,” I told them.
“We have to when school starts back up”
“Just move back here. Jezzy I’m begging you,” Carolyn told her then opened her tub.
“I hate it here when I’m not with any of you guys. Mum’s getting too much to handle and Matt. Ugh don’t get me started on Matt”
“I’ll palm him off to my sister. He should like her because she’s exotic,” Francesca said, us laughing along with her.
