I walked into the kitchen, grabbed my packet of Sour Patch Kids the flopped on the couch. Jezzy went to grab one but I growled at her. She hit my head and went back in but I hissed at her.
“Shut the fuck up and share”
“MINE!” I screamed but she rolled her eyes.
“Share”
“Touch me and I’ll bite you,” I warned with my eyes wide.
“Psh,” she touched the packet again so I did it, I bit her hand…hard. “What the fuck?” she screamed.
“I told you I’d bite you,” I said casually and popped an orange sweet in my mouth.
“Chris!” she shouted.
“What?” he called back.
“Lacy bit me!”
“You didn’t listen so you have to deal with the consequences,” we all burst out laughing as she said slumped against the couch, wearing a pout and her arms crossed over her chest.
“I don’t want to be apart of this family anymore”
“You were never apart of it anyway,” Markus told her as he walked past.
“You little shit. I’ll get you and make it look like a bloody accident,” she warned, pointing at him violently as she hung over the back of the couch.
“Ewe! I’m so scared,” his words dripped with sarcasm as he did jazz hands.
“Even your little brother is mean”
“He’s eleven,” I shrugged.
“When did he turn eleven?” she shouted.
“Uh…January,” I said looking at her like she was insane.
“Don’t look at me like that. You’re the crazy one here”
“You tie,” Carolyn told us.
“We are no longer friends”
“I didn’t think we were in the first place,” Jezzy gasped, Carolyn smirked and Francesca and I were laughing so hard our sides hurt.
“How are you feeling about going back?” Francesca asked after a while of silence.
“I will literally lock myself in my room so I don’t have to leave”
“I don’t think that will happen”
“You never know with Lacy. She’ll scream bloody murder to get out of something she doesn’t want to do,” Jezzy told her.
“Hey Jez,” I spoke.
“Yeah?”
“Have you heard from Kat or Scarlet lately?”
She tilted her head to the side and furrowed her eyebrows, “last I heard Kat was disowned for smoking pot and Scarlet’s pregnant”
“What?” I asked rather loudly. “Are you serious?”
“Semi”
“Huh?”
“Kat was disowned but because she didn’t live up to her parents expectations and yes…Scarlet is pregnant,” she shrugged casually.
“I’m lost,” Carolyn told us.
“Two girls we used to work with”
“But Scarlet was so quiet…mostly,” I told her.
“I know. It’s a shame”
“And Kat?”
“Bitch had it coming. Man I hated her”
“Me too. Do you think I could be a lesbian?”
“And this is coming from where?” Francesca asked.
“Luke said I couldn’t be a lesbian when I told him that he was the only reason I’m straight”
“Oh honey,” Jezzy laughed and pat my back.
“You be the most convincing straight person pretending to be a lesbian ever,” Carolyn told me.
“Good. I want to prove that asshole wrong”
“But how?” Jezzy asked.
“Wanna get one up on Ashton?” I questioned her.
“I’d do anything to knock his ego down a few pegs. What’s the plan?”
“The other two need to get involved to”
“What?” they screamed in unison.
